ОтветитьThe best coach i saw in my life
ОтветитьNice❤
ОтветитьI love cool chill coaches like you guys. Its a big help just feeling aceepted and comfortable around people who can definitely kick my ass. Love it! Wish more coaches and trainers taught this way.
ОтветитьBEST SHORT BOXING VID EVER
ОтветитьSome simple techniques in there 👍🏻.
The all round movement is where anyone wanting learn needs to be, so as you showed, good boxing stance, subtle head mvt, hands high to parry (and not reaching, but touching their glove only), slipping and rolling and fundamental to it all, footwork. Just keep them moving whist doing the rest, and relax.
Novices should shadow as much as possible outside of the gym sessions.
Good video.
i ate too many punches that now even i side-eye (peripheral vision), i can see that jab cross or jab hook from miles :)), but yeah focus is definitely key.
ОтветитьGreat Video
ОтветитьTht boy quick wit it tho
ОтветитьGood videos! Thanks
ОтветитьThis video is amazing. Can you please make a part 2 where he starts at long range then closes the distance and also he includes clinches.
ОтветитьUse a boom mic on a fish pole. Your audio will improve when action is taking place.
ОтветитьLovely basic work. Confidence is so important to stay in pocket and carry out the basic defensive fundamentals. Lovely work by u both.
ОтветитьBoooooo😒
ОтветитьI love his control. That's someone everyone must be happy to work with
Ответитьas a 28year old learning boxing and mma for the first time... its really rough with the defensive aspect, still can't see punches and still flinch and close my eyes sometimes. Hoping it will come with enough time and practice
ОтветитьBeautiful....great breakdown and coaching. This guy got great technique
Ответитьhis guest has one of the smoothest jabs i have ever seen...
when i'm training, i see his jab in my head and try to figure it out...
Excellent tutorial on defense drill. Btw Never forget to launch counter punches following defense

Ответить7th week now, learned a lot already in my gym. Working alot on breathing and relaxing. Distance management is getting good. Cardio lacking alot though makes me make alot of mistakes..
ОтветитьThe fact that your FUCKIN AMAZING AT THIS IS INSANE🫱🏼🫲🏾🔥love your channel
ОтветитьI tried to react to the jabs moving while he swings.. man i suck :/
ОтветитьYou helped me through the pandemic with these amazing videos, when I needed that push, you helped me to get through it mentally and helped me to get stronger physically and mentally , I'll never forget that man. Always indebted to you for that and I wish you the best always brother
ОтветитьThis works great for people that shut their eyes. It also works well to develop an awareness of how to change backing up to working an angle.
I used to "Slip right into a punch" more often. This drill makes it less painful when I'm with a few of my sparring partners.
This is such a good video. Love the focus on relaxation. World class training! A great way to get beginners ready for sparring. Much respect......
ОтветитьMucho hablais
ОтветитьWho tf is he sparring …bivols little brother
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьLots of rhythm stepping goin on here
ОтветитьGood tips, goog long reach partner. One thing, I do different : I include single shots on my (defending)side, whenever the partner gets close BEFORE punching. Otherwise, there is an unrealistic distance, that one shouldn't allow in real sparring. On the other hand ( pun not intended ), it teaches me to keep "closed" after my attack.
ОтветитьThis is a drill I do a lot with people who train with me. But seeing two pros like you and Nate perform it, I can always get something more out of it. The one thing I'll tell my partners to do is: you're not just feeding punches; this is also a time for you to focus on throwing yours correctly, while I focus on blocking. Or vice versa when we switch roles. That way the one throwing the punches doesn't feel like they're wasting their time. They can focus on their footwork, their chin, their guard, etc. Nate did a perfect job being a realistic opponent for you. You guys are great!
