that on demand Liquidity is not being used at this time.

Then, you multiply that number by 10 to get to "financial Institutions". Are you saying or implying that ALL financial institutions are making international payments, and would therefor be a candidate to use XRP?

Question... what stops the banks from creating some clever accounting whereby for example, 1 x XRP can move let's say $10000, but the token is still only worth $1.00?

Banks don't need to hold XRP. Ripple and their ODL partners will have large pools of XRP that you can Lease from them to complete the transaction. For a small fee, of course...

I watched couple of Simon Hunt interviews and noticed when the mention or any questions about XRP, he wouldn't answer. Andy Scheckman and other leading voices also seem to be looking the other way and won't discuss XRP. Almost like all those voices are being told to stay silent. I also believe Max Kaiser, a massive Bitcoin proponent, has apparently supported the SEC in the Ripple lawsuit and can't say enough bad things about XRP .... almost as if Max Kaiser is really worried ..... hmmmmm ..........

Regarding the cold wallet everyone continues to say you have to have... I emailed Netcoins, the exchange I have been using to purchase XRP and they told me everything is insured, as required by Ontario law. Everyone's coins on the exchange are stored in individual wallets. Seems pretty secure to me.
