What a brilliant and allied composer and performer, it seems that Rachmaninoff wrote it for Seon Jin Cho to perform, a concerto that never tires, you listen to again and again and each time you appreciate it more, you enjoy it more.

Everybody thinks this was “awesome”. I am fed up of such commentary. I am also in total disagreement.
What a prick that conductor was, for letting the orchestra trampse over one of the finest finales owed to the pianist, by allowing the strings to do the talking. You can see the frustration in the pianist. This could have been his moment.

This is not the finest performance of the 2nd by a long chalk. The moron conductor simply thinks that conducting the string section is more important than understanding that dear old Sergei wanted response to his bells - not DOMINATION. When will anybody listening learn?
This is a performance that arrived on time but in the wrong costume.

성진 초 중학교 때 처음 연주보고 깜짝 놀랐던 사람인데 진짜 감개무량😊 중간에 함경씨가 오보에로 피아노와 함께 노래해주는 장면도 얼마나 자랑스러운지… 국뽕모먼트.

He and this orchestra play this beautifully. It brought tears to my eyes, and I did not realize why until I remembered that my father used to play a recording of this in our home when I was a child. Music touches special memories in the brain.
