Don't think the Borg would have a prayer against that version of Starfleet
Ответитьare you going to cover the ships seen in star trek 2009 and what do you think happened to the Enterprise-c
ОтветитьVery well done, the TMP era is my favorite design era from the show and these were translated so well!
ОтветитьWOW i so loved this video it gives the Kelvin timeline more of an amazing story and id love to see more
ОтветитьSo many of the travel time issues I had with the Kelvin films was fixed by the simple line about studying the Nerada allowing them to achieve transwarp so much earlier. I love it!
Ответить@altavision1000 already had a JJ-verse Miranda/Reliant class modeled out, you could have tapped him for that.
ОтветитьNice! Now I don't have to warp around the channel to watch all of the designs 😆
ОтветитьYour fanon is your fanon, but I dislike four-nacelle designs (I prefer the Federation and Ascension trireme dreadnaughts), and I further loathe most of the Disco designs, so Cardenas is a no-go for me. The Ascender (clearly a Curry-type design from a Connie base instead of a Prime Universe Excelsior) is simply ugly, I hate it. Whereas the Curry was wonky but somehow still workable at least. I'm also annoyed by the total absence of the Anton/Miranda/Reliant. If you are among those who think its somehow overrated, we will have to fight.
ОтветитьSo I've got a plot hole observation and series of questions to fire your way if your willing to indulge me good sir. So this whole technical revolution for the federation came from a single encounter scan of the Narada. It was shown the klingons captured the ship in a deleted scene implied to have captured it for a significant length of time nearing 25 years. leading to nero having a "jail break" event that resulted in the 47 warbirds being destroyed. So why would the Klingons ships be so much smaller by comparison? the federation practically tripled or quadrupled the era ship scale on average while the klingons barely jumped by 50% from the D7 to the late tmp era original timeline k'tinga size. yes they are a primarily warrior style culture but the sheer length of time as a technologically competent species should have been a MASSIVELY better resource to advance compared to the single combat scan. Potentially even breaking into the onboard computer data storage and seeing the records of the other timeline klingons future ships and technology.
Also why would the feds still go onto the excelsior project? it was intended to pioneer transwarp tech as a concept which thanks to the scans they now have. it seems a moot waste of resources to indulge an alternative technical goal for an already achieved one with an even more expensive larger ship design. The Vengeance was a pioneer of trans-warp tracking and combat capability that had use.
now I'm gonna get back to imagining a kelvin timeline ship size scale consistent galaxy class. 1800-2400 meters of pure overpowered awesome facing down the first Borg cube with Picard in command.
So your just gonna ignore the comics that are apparently apart of the kelvin cannon and not mention the enterprise was launched but they rebuilt her ugh.
ОтветитьVery well done. I enjoyed your story a lot. You tied up a lot of questions that I personally think should become canon. Kudos to you :)
ОтветитьIf Disney buys paramount can the TVA do us a favor and prune the kelvin timeline?
ОтветитьThis was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed every single moment of this. Well Done man... Well done!!! LLAP!
ОтветитьSad not to see the USS Aegis from bridge crew 😢
ОтветитьThe Kelvinverse StarShip shields come across as so pathetic they may as well not have shields.
ОтветитьMore please! That was really, really, really great. Would love to see a kelvin time-line tng sequel! Thankyou!
ОтветитьWell done! Eyes up for You!
ОтветитьOne discrepancy though. The older ships that went into warp to Vulcan before the Enterprise also arrived there in a similar time frame. If they were using older tech, they should have taken weeks to get there. Even if one retcons to say they had been retrofitted with the new trans warp tech, they still should have taken longer to get to Vulcan.
Try as we might, Abrams fudged the tech for the sake of plot and the writers were negligent in thinking through the nerdy stuff. They should have had the other ships leaving from points closer to Vulcan to make it work.
I'm sorry but I'm not a big fan of the Kelvin timeline ships I'm a big fan of the normal time line
ОтветитьPLEASE continue story!
ОтветитьThank you for this, it's great to have some Trek lore to keep us going until whenever Paramount gets itself together and makes a movie or just finally gets season 3 of SNW released.
ОтветитьThis is awesome!
ОтветитьThat was a fascinating selection of ships and a well-developed alternate history.
ОтветитьThe Romulans have a star empire? Have they tried having a planet empire? I would think it easier to live on planets.
ОтветитьI loved the video. You did a fantastic job. I would love to see more videos like this one.
ОтветитьThe nacelles are just stupid
ОтветитьThe Dominion never stood a chance.
ОтветитьNow that was fun to listen but watch.🤗
ОтветитьI am not impressed that Calvin timeline at all.
ОтветитьThis is fantastic! Having them all together in one go is a dream come true. I love the storyline you have crafted! Can’t wait to see the 24th century adventures in the kelvin universe.
ОтветитьPeople give these ships a lot of grief because of the bad writing from the source but some of these are really decent. I do like the increased size and implied functionality. Granted, some (the Enterprise rebuild) are junk and made that way on purpose to insult the franchise.
ОтветитьYes I would like part two but please add the ambassador class ship time line in as well! Maybe even enterprise b and c time lines with there fate love what your doing keep it up!👍
ОтветитьLove the vid, can't wait for the continuation 😁
ОтветитьCool !
ОтветитьI forgot to say that I love the idea of Chang being loyal to Gorkon and actually working with Kirk to figure out the assassination attempt instead of demanding he surrender to be arrested. I also still love the look for the Kelvin Excelsior that's a beauty.
I also still find the Proxima class an interesting design too. Also the look of the Kelvin Galaxy class.
Love this. Also that Kelvin Galaxy class at the end look s really cool.
ОтветитьYou have created an absolutely phenomenal storyline! I mean completely telling a brand new timeline is just impressive for what you've created in an hour! ✨
ОтветитьGreat job please keep it going
ОтветитьTo Be Continued at the end? Heck yeah!
ОтветитьThought - if Scotty sabotaged the first trans warp drive in the prime line. Then that means it worked! And he theoretically could fix it. And since he was on the project he would know how to integrate upgrades from the project to older starships. Why do you speculate they didn't pursue Scotty to fix his
Sabotage? Or did it take that long to figure it out and he was in the transporter?
you should find a way to pitch your ship design to the developers at Star Trek Online, they are really cool designs
ОтветитьFantastic story! I would have loved to have seen this version at the cinema.
ОтветитьNcc 1701 A looks terrible. The original NCC 1701 A is 1000000 times better.
ОтветитьI like this Excelsior better than the OG one.
ОтветитьGreat Work!!
ОтветитьOverall response: wow. Specific detail response: If the Kelvin Enterprise can traverse a parsec every minute (faster than Niven's Known Space Quantum II hyperdrive), then that universe's USS Voyager (if she even came to pass), would need only fifteen days to return home from the far Delta Quadrant. Because of the increasing divergence from the time of the Narada's appearance, it's possible that only some of the people aboard Voyager would be born.
Ответить"We have engaged the Borg."
Those words still make my hair stand after all these years of destroying them over and over faster and faster for a better time score.
I am saddened that the Kelvin timeline will never be this epic.
Made alot better for me... cuz it was hard for me to like before now this way sound a whole lot better
ОтветитьWOW... someone actually Kelvinverse worth watching. Nicely done 👍 ✔️
ОтветитьThat was absolutely incredible and that ending!!! Wow!!!
Ответить
