I don't have kids, but I found this video so helpful for camping with nieces and nephews! Thank you for sharing!
ОтветитьIf u flip in cooler all your cold cases of drinks,w one end open so cans can slip later, upside down, then slowly lift carton out, one by one all the same in cases stay together and more can fit. Then only ice to add!
ОтветитьI love your pollo asada already prepped and ready to cook
ОтветитьGreat information, but the music is too much. I would put less and more calm music.
ОтветитьThanks for the video
ОтветитьI love that you added the minamilist comment bc I can't figure that part out. As much as I try our camping always looks like this 😂
ОтветитьI either pre-make or make it on site, but I make spaghetti. It goes a long way, easy to reheat, and makes leftovers for a few days. When I want to eat it I just cook a piece of toasted bread on the grill and I'm good to go. I put lots and lots of veggies in my sauce so it's very filling and delicious.
ОтветитьMuch like your Pelican, I have an RTIC cooler. Works and looks like the Yeti! I❤ it!,
ОтветитьFreezing the water jugs and bottles is an excellent idea and making things ahead and Freezing them also, saves time. Thank you so much! We love to go camping as well.
Ответить😂 "parking lot camping "
Kinna true 😊
Thank you for sharing your tips fir camping with a family
I just discovered your channel.. one thing I like to make is meatloaf ( mine does not have any sauce on the top so easier to make sandwiches). I will pre slice for meatloaf sandwiches, or sometimes I will just heat in a pan with a side like couscous ( love to cook couscous because there is no water to get rid of). If I am camping in the desert it is usually a pack out your grey water situation, so I don’t tend to make pasta just so I don’t have the water to deal with.
Ответитьthis video is very helpful, thank you!!
ОтветитьFirst time here love the excitement 😍 kids so adorable. Going on road trips and camping so fun. I can't never ever pack light 😫 even if is just me and my husband I always have to bring half kitchen and closet 🙃
ОтветитьWe are going to our first family camping trip for the 4th of July 2022, and your video helped me tremendously!!! Thank you so much!! You are awesome!!!
ОтветитьI pre-make green chile, pinto beans, and tortillas for green chile burros also make pasta salad, taco meat for walking tacos, I do the same with my eggs but put them in a coffee creamer bottle, I buy big bags of frozen potatoes and separate them in smaller freezer bags for each morning same with sausage and bacon so I'm handling food less. While camping with limited water in the boondocks you want to prevent as much washing as possible. Love camping! I'm planning my week camping trip with my family of 5 in a week!
ОтветитьYou make it look so easy and truthfully that’s an understatement
ОтветитьSo many good tips! We do easy quesadillas with the meat pre cooked.
ОтветитьI am going on my very first camping trip with my children and our family... We’ve never been camping before so this was very helpful!
ОтветитьThis is so helpful, thank you! How did you make your checklist? Using Pages or Word? Want to try to make something similar!
ОтветитьSo organized = wow!
ОтветитьYour hair got so long quickly
ОтветитьI think I ended up trying the hobo dinner type things for camping one time but I'm not for sure. I believe it was like a chicken patty sandwich or something, and it did not work out as planned. I think it all got messed up and didn't taste good because it was messy or something had happened to the cheese. I don't know but I think I'm going to stick to using my grill and prepping some things at home, but avoiding the whole foil thing and just cooking what I can at the campsite.
ОтветитьTacos In a bag I'm one of our favourite meals for camping!
ОтветитьWe make hobo dinners in tin foil we use either hamburger patties or brats or chicken breast sliced taters, onions, carrots, cabbage butter and seasonings of choice cook about 1 hour over campfire no dished to wash
ОтветитьI’m impressed by the planning and organizing involved in this kind of trip.
ОтветитьI like to go easy on dinner when we are camping. First fave meal is probably hot dogs, chips and cucumbers. Next probably “snack dinner” of pasta salad, pretzels, cheese and sausage, grapes. We go tent camping so I like to keep it simple.
ОтветитьYes we try to prep food or slice up fruits n veggies b4 we leave. Some of our fav camping meals are shredded chicken tacos w rice, sloppy Joes, nachos in bowl, n breakfast casserole 😀😋
ОтветитьHi love watching ur videos!! Thanks for the tips on camping foods! My 3 children n I have been camping about 7 years now(currently my kids r 13, 16 n 18 yrs old). We do tent camping, we have fun learning new ideas w camping- foods to cook over the campfire, or how to start a fire, 😁🌺
ОтветитьWe make chili on campfire then for lunch next day we have chili dogs
ОтветитьAwesome tips!
ОтветитьLove see your camper. Have fun camping
ОтветитьSuch a fun video! We go camping with our camping trailer multiple times each summer with several other families. We always do breakfasts and lunch individually but dinner we do collectively like you. However, instead of each owning a night we have a shareable spreadsheet where we have a dinner theme and each family plugs in on the spreadsheet what they will bring for that night. Some dinner ideas we have done in the past are nacho night, appetizer night, tri tip, burgers, hotdogs/brats, crockpot night, soup night, tacos or Mexican themed. We love camping so much! You make the best memories! Enjoy :-)
ОтветитьWe don’t camp yet but hope to one day!
ОтветитьAs a fellow San diegan I’m curious where you guys went camping I grew up camping in the Midwest but since moving here haven’t found a campground unless you go into Julian
Hope your family had a fun and safe camping trip.
My head is spinning listening to this. 😵💫Our camping meals are always very simple. Simple meats, fruit for dessert. We prefer simplicity when camping over lots of ingredients and spices etc. We keep it simple no matter if we are roughing it or not.
ОтветитьWe like to make habichi I cut chicken, squish, Zucchini and onion and prep my rice .Heat all using butter and soy sauce so yummy and filling
Ответитьbbq sausages on hotdog buns with cooked onions on bottom add cheese place hot sausage add tomato sauce or bbq sauce you call it brown sauce and we call this sausage sizzle
ОтветитьI am curious. I just signed up for the meal plan program. When do the new plans usually posted. TIA . FYI loving your videos
ОтветитьI mix eggs with egg beaters too. I freeze the uncooked scrambled eggs.
ОтветитьHey! I guess i'm first to view🌟
