Naqshbandi Memorial Complex Near Bukhara

One of the most important Muslim shrines in Uzbekistan is the memorial complex of Khoja Bahouddin Naqshbandi. Every devout Muslim knows and respects this revered name. Khoja Bahouddin Naqshbandi, a renowned 14th-century theologian and founder of the Naqshbandi Sufi order, is buried 12 kilometers from Bukhara, in the village of Kasri Orifon.

The mausoleum of Khoja Bahouddin Naqshbandi is often referred to as the "Mecca of Central Asia". Believers from various Muslim countries visit this sacred site to pray for the fulfillment of their wishes and for healing. Additionally, performing three walking pilgrimages from Bukhara to this necropolis is considered equivalent to completing one full Hajj.
