People, let me be the first one to tell you. This weapon is DEADLY. The 11 joule shooting aluminum/steel balls at 400fps will penetrate inside the body, and they will start to leak HEAVILY.

Too bad I live where I cannot purchase such a weapon. Criminals have no reason to worry about the NYS laws. Criminals break laws, NYers!

So still a lethal weapon, but because it uses air, I guess that’s okay, your honour.

Can't believe cave men didn't have this with the pepper spray rounds. This guy came back to the cruise terminal, crying like hell, but after walking two miles. Like if you were just choking on some food. That guy ain't coming back. I just like plinking, can't see why it's so hard to make some kids think right.

Think three times before buying URAMEX, I purchased the uramez pistol, I shot about 50 shots max and the gas canister blew out, I contacted the dealer, they told me they had MANY comebacks with that fault, I contacted URAMEX they told me they won't fix it as it was modified to 21 joules. Modifying to 21 joules has NOTHING to do with the gas cylinder blowing out. So be aware URAMEX will not help you even when they know their product is rubbish.

So... you pull out this and your attacker might pull out his piece and the chance for it being a real one is higher. plus this is basically like trying to play paintball with one difference you play with this and the guy might pull out a real one.

Out here in Poland we have a limit of 14J's on BB's/Airguns -and i can tell you even that 14 is not much. for eg we also have 40J's ones but those do require some paperwork to get but those could dish out some damage. but not much - anything below is just like trying to play the paintball with the guy who wants to harm you. For the sake of comparison a typical paintball gun dishes out around 7.5J's or slightly more. For another comparison a .22lr a very tiny calliber bullet usually carries around 170-180J's a typical 9 mil dishes out around 820J's +
And then there is a matter of clothing - any clothing will have a huge impact if the reciepient is wearing a t-shirt and a hoodie or sweater then this thing will barely make a bruise because it fires relatively large ball and thus the surface area over which the energy will be dispersed is also large - a more damaging thing would be a 4,5 or bigger BB or pellet because it has the same energy but on a smaller area for eg i have a 30rd automatic BB gun - which can empty the clip in 2 seconds - that thing would be way more effective than this rubber revolver ever could hope to be.

Some people might try to argue to use that metal ammo like devastators - but despite it's catchy marketing name - it still carries the same energy or less than the rubber one. the only difference will be in how the projectile behaves - rubber will bounce and the metal will be less bouncy - so it might be slighly more efficient at "harming" but not by much - at least not by enough to make that matter if push come to shove.

A better test would have been against a slab of pig skin with meat - but then it wouldnt be as "spectacular since it would struggle to do any real damage. and the best test would have been the said meat and on top of it a t-shirt and a hoodie or sweater - but then it would really struggle to make a dent. Let's face it it might scare off a teenager but if anyone really wants to do some harm to you then this toy ain't gonna even slow him down. So... to call that toy a self defence option is bascially a lie. In Poland one dude made a test of this with his buddy - he used it on him few times - and he came to him bumped his fist in a friendly manner and then proceeded to make pushpups to show that he wasnt fazed at all - meaning if he was a reall attacker then at that time he would be beating the you know what out of the owner of this toy.

They even later used the pepper balls on him and he said that all he felt was a slight tingling like eating a spicy kabob and that's it - no impairment at all.

not good option, let me explain
canister with CO2 left in gun to sit, loses gas, and when you need it, you have fart.
If you shoot one round and put to sit, don't forget to replace canister
To much to remember for every day person who does not handle firearms
Happened to me

For theses tests I'd suggest putting piece of cloth in front of the target to simulate clothing.. Like if you're shooting through a winter jacket what's the penetration? (Hello from Canada)

If you have the regular paintball one, it won’t do nothing. You have to upgrade it to at least an 11 or higher, and it will do some serious damage.

Hiding behind the second amendment is running out of credibility, it is the over ready access to firearms that makes the self defence necessary in the first place, couple that with the US attitude to violence being the court of first resort and the firearm violence in the US will only get worse and until the US has the cultural maturity most of the developed western world and accepts that there is need of far more control to deny the misuse of firearms if the public will not discipline themselves individually and collectively agains firearm misuse. The devices are nott the problem the problem is the shit US culture.

You know what this is? This is temporary grid down property defense. Meaning powers been out a couple weeks and the non-preped are starting to get antsy and considering doing things that's not ordinarily in their nature to do. Deep down you know the power will be back on...eventually, and you don't want to kill your neighbor for trying to steal your emergency generator. So...gas pellet gun to help your neighbor to..".remember themselves" if you catch my drift 😉.

See, here’s the thing… it looks like you got 450fps… I’ve seen other videos at 450fps… then I’ve seen other videos get 130fps and 300fps with mods. I’m looking to tap and crack. Real guns exist and if I don’t have 6 rounds that will penetrate, it’s not worth carrying. I’ll have to take the other persons from them unarmed.

I have it, is great option. In my country It's very difficult to qualify for a firearm legally. So air guns are a good option. What I do believe is that in the case of air guns, it's really necessary to have a backup weapon (like a club or pepper spray) in case the attacker manages to get close despite the damage and pain.
