One of the most remarkable memories I have of Philipp Lahm isn't on the pitch, but on text books. I took a german course in college and the workbook we used for guidance described Lahm as being one of Germany's greatest players and national heroes. That amazed me as I knew him from the sport, but ignored how respected he is on his home country. Greetings from México.
