When I was in high school all the boys had to take a shop. The project that was don’t was to make a lamp out of a bowling pin. Momma had it. Then my sister. Don’t where it is now. Did mine it the 1950s.

Bowling pins are made from nice maple. I made a nice goblet out of one in high school woodshop but I lost it somewhere in my travels.

Für so einen Mist hätte auch ein Normales Stück Holz ausgereicht. Lächerliches Ergebnis.

love to see peoples wood turning work, also doing it by myself but i never understood why people wear gloves on turning machines. one splinter can fuck up your day and from the people in the ER.
