I Cant Believe People Dont Do This With OLD FURNITURE !

From an old desk that would be thrown onto the fire to a lovely piece of furniture to work perfectly in the space where it is needed. Or at least that is the hope.

MY childhood desk is surplus to requirements and my parents want it out of the house. So it came my way. And I dont want to just burn it. But, like them, I have no need for it and so it needs to be reused in another way.

But I have not done a project like this before and I had no idea of the pitfalls of using recycled wood.
