I think countries have a rule set where they can’t capitulate to a peace deal within a certain amount of time so they can join a faction. It’s not a mechanic I really agree with though, if you can capitulate a country faster than they can evacuate their government you should be able to get a peace deal w them

Fun fact:denmark fell 4 hours the rest is just disarmament

The reason it only took 6 hours is because they surrendered, it would take much longer if they didn't surrender

It's really annoying that capitulations only happen at midnight. Multiple times I've paradroped all the Vps of a nation and just staired at the screen.
