This title alone was enough to let me allow the children time on the Play Station, days ahead of schedule, just so I could come steal away and spend this time with you. You could've just called this episode, "Hey Dawn, let's hang!" Love you, Sis.
ОтветитьLove watching your videos. Very calming. Please follow up on whether you can use that bark you soaked in water and what steps were needed to extract the color. Thanks
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your thoughts Marce! Lovely episode. ❤️
I’ve been thinking more about communication. How we communicate in different ways, especially in this digital age, so to speak. Social media platforms we didn’t communicate through before. How can/do I communicate in ways that are most authentic to me? That’s a little of what I’ve been thinking about.
Love your trees and fire pit!! Didn’t know that south Florida was plentiful with pines. Excited to see how your bark dye turns out.
Take care!
Stephanie ❤️
Many, many years ago I found I wanted to understand my intuition better and discovered 2 books that I found helpful “Awakening Intuition” by Mona Lisa Schultz and “Practical Intuition” by Laura Day. The 2nd book has exercises you can do to help understand yourself and what is happening around you. I still have bookmarkes in several places in both books that I have gone back to multiple times to help me make sense of what is happening or had happened. I never let people belittle my intuition even if it only makes sense to me. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьHi Marce, that was a very relaxing and soothing episode. Thanks, I needed that😘
ОтветитьThank you for this, Marce! This was SUPER-COZY! Just the thing for now. December gets too busy... that over-used word, yes. This was perfect for today, as I'm giving myself a day off, as it is likely the only time I'll have for myself from now until about January 2nd... haha! Thank you for this beautiful, gentle reminder that it is OK to drop out of the crazy for a few hours, or a day, to recharge the heart, mind, body and spirit. Happy Days to you & yours! :) OXOX --Tracy ( PinkMagic on Rav, @simplegiftspictured on IG )
ОтветитьMarce, what a joy you are! Intuition is playing heavily in my December ❤ Good job with the firewood! Did you ever hear the saying "chopping wood warms you twice - first when you chop it and again when you burn it!" x o
ОтветитьAlways enjoy your wonderfully relaxing videos! I try to slow down occasionally especially at this stressful time of the year! Love your fire - staring into a fire is so therapeutic!
ОтветитьReally enjoy watching how you work nature into your life. Love your podcasts! Thank you for Sharing ⚘🍃
ОтветитьMy intuition is everything to me. When I go against it things go wrong for me. I find it funny that you asked about positive changes for 2019. I had a massive one yesterday and it rocked me so hard that today I am resting and taking it slow and steady. My daughter spent 2019 very ill and it fell into intuition of knowing that she was really not okay. Holding her and wanting to protect her like a mother bear. So I fought and I sought out specialists and did scans and tests. Yesterday we got a very big diagnosis that scared me. It scared me yesterday. Now today I have been sitting and thinking it through and doing the heels on the socks I am making. I feel more in power and secure with this diagnosis than I have for all of 2019 while she was sick and scared and lost. We are no longer lost and there is a security in that. It will not be an easy road but either way it was already there and we will continue on. It is all that we can do after all. This is a positive change for me. It might seem odd but now we can move forward and upward. We can seek treatment and come to terms with what the future holds. I want to reach out and make new connections with other families like ours and maybe someday be that caring shoulder for another scared mother. I am now looking forward to the holiday more than ever. Life is not perfect but I am happy with it.
ОтветитьMarce, what color do you expect from the pine bark ? I love your cozies.
ОтветитьFor the last 6 most I have changed my eating habits and lost 40 lbs, now my next year will be more planned accomplishments, living with more purpose.
ОтветитьYour podcast and presence exudes tranquility :-) We are in the height of summer in South Africa so not really a cosy time lol. I am busy super sorting out of my house from all the sewing and crafts and children's left overs that they must now deal with, so making a pile for each of the 2 of them :D I am watching your podcast while I am knitting the test knit for Laege (my third attempt at the front as we were all still fixing mistakes and I made some of my own and then had to make some adjustments as I am knitting a longer version) but it is now really looking good! Cannot wait for us all to share it once she publishes her pattern!
Ответитьlovely to see you! I have a similar day--working from home (sometimes on campus) and on projects that I decide to focus on. It's a nice space to be in, but one where you could work all the time . . . lol. . . this is a nice reminder to slow down and plan some fun/down time :)
ОтветитьHi Marce, I think this may be my first comment, so "enchantee" :) This isn't exactly what you were asking about, but my intuition is telling me to go ahead and write it, so here we are. This year I've felt a distinct transition. I've had two major changes--some health issues and a promotion to a full-time desk job. As a young person, it's so easy to be healthy and active, but I'm finding now it's something I have to really pay attention to. Also feeling so much more gratitude for what my body is capable of. I bike commute to work, and sometimes it can be a bit of a drag, especially on those long hills. But now when I'm biking I'm just so grateful that my body is strong enough to be able to do it. I adore hiking, and now on the weekends when I'm hiking, I distinctly feel happy and healthy, and again so much gratitude that I'm healthy enough to be doing things to make me feel healthy (if that makes sense..).
Your "lapcloth of plenty" is lovely! Thanks for sharing your gentle ritual.
Marce... love, you are walking around a fire in open toe shoes. Please be careful. One rogue spark, and your day is ruined. Thank you for another beautiful podcast. ❤
ОтветитьSo nice to hear you mention double points......I started on dpns years ago and although I've tried other knitting tools, dpns remain my favorites.
