You should paint the kitchen cabinets all gray and not just the doors. Looks like you have a lot of decluttering to do. If you can't afford a new kitchen floor you can install some nice stick on tiles over the old ones. The live edge counters are nice.

I will pretty much be doing this same kind of reno so thank you for sharing. Also it is much appreciated that you included the whole sink caulking situation. Before he explained what happened I was saying ”was it human error, was it the caulk itself, how do I make sure this doesn't happen to me???” thanks again for sharing!
