ОтветитьLife calls through varying frequencies 😮
Ответитьreally interestind and real
ОтветитьThere's a lot of catch-as-catch-can moves that remind me of early pro wrestling.
ОтветитьSeems the same stuff has generally always worked
ОтветитьI love hearing obscure techniques people think make me crazy. Leppards paw!
Ответить"Not only am i trying to beat you but im trying to injure you for life" is crazy
ОтветитьThe UFC started in November 12, 1993; Steven Seagal was 41 years old at the time, people actually still think he's at the level of Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock lol. My dudes he's like Jean Claude Van Damme, he has some skills but physically and skill wise completely outmatched.
ОтветитьEnkamp is, the-champ!
ОтветитьAnother brilliant episode. :-) In situations like this one, where the guest basically makes you think "Oh my god, I know NOTHING...", I love how Jesse always breaks out into the biggest smile because suddenly there's a ton of new stuff to learn - always remain a student 🙂
ОтветитьGood one! Real experience!
ОтветитьI'm not a martial artist no interest in combat yet your show is so insightful and educational not just about combat but also the human condition. In that sense it's as much a show about life philosophy. Great work!
ОтветитьThere's no such thing as a banned karate move

This is a great video, I really like this guy. I'm not one that goes to comments just to pick it apart but the steven seagal thing was just wrong. I've wrestled and done jujitsu my whole life with some pretty popular people, I can say this with truth and knowledge. I disagree with that one detail only. My sister could slap steven around that guy is a joke. its like watching WWE everytime I see him, but everytime I see him I turn it off, just like the WWE. He doesn't even wear the cute outfits like on WWE, it would do wonders for his ratings, works for the ladies. I wouldn't care but he's always trying to sell himself as not a fraud he doesn't know the world is way ahead of him and he's only making it worse. The stupid videos he makes make it worse. its so bad, thats almost entertaining in itself, its like a cringe moment everytime I see him, Like a train wreck you can't look away from. I'm embarrassed for him if he would just stop people wouldn't think about it and wouldn't know. He's had someone show him some moves for the camera at times and he doesn't even pull that of well. his body stiff no movement, he doesn't know how to. I don't know where to start its just someone that probably couldn't fight his way out of a paper sack
ОтветитьDid anyone else notice that the depictions in that book they're wearing Kung Fu garb versus what anyone believes to be traditional karate garb?
ОтветитьFascinating!
ОтветитьGreat videos. You're very knowledgeable and humble.
ОтветитьMy friend Ed proved and polished his techniques by getting a job as a bouncer in the biggest redneck bar in North Miami. Found out real quick what worked and what didn't.
Ответить❤
ОтветитьI studied Shotokan from a man who grew up in the martial arts academy on Okinawa. There was a lot of Bubishi in that school. I then went to a Norris studio (late 70s) and an Ed Parker Kenpo studio. I was very fortunate.
I appreciate comments about Seagal and not being "political" about it, he's got black belts in several styles and a 7th in Ten Shin Aikido. I'm also 6'5" (after the chiropractor 😊) and yes, the extra length/leverage does make a difference. When going to the eyes or side of the neck you will(ideally) hit the Vegas nerve and its over. It shocks the nervous system and locks you up.
I like watching this guy because you can tell he is sick of being 5 percent but to teach others he goes five percent. It takes control because the real strike is what he is trained for. Depressing for the individual as a man self made for neutralizing however took it upon himself to be kind . Very impressive. I still dont know how to see it.
ОтветитьI love how I didnt recognize his face at all. But as soon as I heard his name I instantly knew who he was. I use to read ALOT of martial art books, magazines , etc and his name would come up often.
ОтветитьThese are Ju Jitsu technics.
ОтветитьMy favourite sensei. Understated, looks almost innocent, but a machine. Someone you could learn something new from every day.
ОтветитьI had a chance to train in his gym in California for few times. Trust me everything he say, he can back it up.
His leg lock collection is far beyond all leg locks you can imagine.
Nice techniques overall, Nice video for any Martial Artist💪🌍👌
ОтветитьHad the chance to train at one of Erik’s schools in Columbia SC when I was at Ft Jackson. Picked up so much knowledge there
ОтветитьRespect for him praising Steven Segal for once as he gets a ton of bad press. Great lessons here, thank you.
ОтветитьWas watching till the SS thing, then I quit
ОтветитьAmazing video as ever, Jesse are you aware of a martial artist called Chris Crudelli? I'd love to know what you think of the video where he meets a Japanese name who trains CIA agents. He uses some type of off-putting body language to put fear into the opponent. It's fascinating.
ОтветитьYou can see the years of experience and dedication in the naturalness of his movement. Wow. Love this video, thank you!
ОтветитьFIBS effect
ОтветитьBanned? Who banned them from being taught?
ОтветитьLove how he’s obviously so careful to avoid injuring you during more dangerous demos
ОтветитьThat man is a real life "Final Boss"...
ОтветитьHim in member
ОтветитьThis guy wanted to fight in ufc and gracies denied they knew he would kick their s
ОтветитьThe greatest victory is winning the battle without fighting.
Sun Tzu, The Art of War.
Erik Paulson is one of the most underrated and lesser known martial artists ever
ОтветитьHe is making it looks really easy man 😂. I will not be able to do any of it
ОтветитьIt's wild how he can be that deadly while simultaneously looking and sounding like he's slouching on the couch with a beer in his hand.
ОтветитьI'm confused how he has those ears, does what he does and doesn't have them cauliflowered shut 😅
ОтветитьThe book is in Chinese.
ОтветитьThe one thing I can't get right i a leaping spin kick that van Damme does
ОтветитьThe jumping scissors took me a while to get right
ОтветитьIs the bubishi available to purchase
