‘Amazing’: Donald Trump's gender bill receives praise

Women’s Forum Australia CEO Rachael Wong has praised Donald Trump after the President-elect proposed a new gender bill which would prohibit men from competing in women’s sports.

“The bill will also make clear that Title 9 prohibits men from participating in women’s sports, and we will protect the rights of parents from being forced to allow their minor child to assume a gender which is new and an identity without the parent’s consent,” Mr Trump said during his announcement.

Ms Wong said the President-elect ran his campaign on the gender ideology “madness” and managed to secure the presidency.

“He is going to get gender ideology out of schools, out of government, he is going to stop the transing of kids, he is going to restore parental rights, restore women’s sex-based rights,” she told Sky News Australia.
