Well I watched The Politician some two years ago and I had no idea Ben Platt could sing, and I`m not kidding when I tell you I was STUNNED by this performance. I was obssessed with this performance, well, every single one of his in the show tbh but still, this one is so moving! I cried listening to this more times than I`d like to admit, it`s something about the lyrics combined with the moment he sang it in the story and most of all the feelings he drowns me with his voice. Damn, I love this

As someone who cried while listening to this before even watching the show, I can confirm something we all know. Ben's singing is absolutely amazing.

This was the song that made me a Ben Platt fan. And still am here in 2022! Now if only they'd release an album of Parade. He was so incredible in that musical this Nov.
