As a Starbucks manager, hearing Tom Hanks narrate about “you too can get a cup of coffee for just $2.95” made me very sad.

Some of our drinks cost almost $8 now with no customizations or additions. Just standard default drink. Quickly approaching ten dollars.

You know, I thought the food was very bad and then only frequented Cafe Coffee Day after that. Should have tried out the other stuff at Starbucks when I had the chance. I actually like coffee and have always wanted to try a caramel macchiato.

I’m more of a Frappe or sometimes iced coffee fan. I’m 30 and this scene makes me wish I was young enough to remember the Golden Years of Starbucks.
