I have fibromyalgia and this is a doable workout for me. I don't feel intense pain the day after like I do with most exercise. And after I finish I feel so clear headed and happy. It's relaxing. I always thought pilates was going to be operated cause celebs all do it and it's so published lately. But I loved it. New favorite morning workout.

ОтветитьI’m on one of my very Low energy days, but skipping workout altogether makes it worse. This was perfect, even though I had to skip the second set of thigh workout, I feel good. Thank you

ОтветитьThanks for this workout Nicole. i just got back to working out again after weeks of hiatus. Due to the nature of my work, I am physically exhausted everyday. Hence the weeks of not being able to workout. Doing your "gentle pilates" makes me feel good about myself again. :)

ОтветитьI was a bit hesitant to switch my daily practice from yoga to pilates but there was no need to be. Nicole, your cues are excellent and don't ever worry about being a broken record. Every time I listen to your cues, there is something in my form that I need to think about. Thank you so much! Loving this channel

ОтветитьYesterday, I was mocked by a boy(early 20's) for doing pilates/yoga. He thinks this kind of exercise is not good and a waste of time. He also body shame me. I enlighten him about the benefits of doing this but he just laugh. So I gave him my two cents. And he apologizes after.
Whatever form of workout/exercise you are doing, if you are comfortable and happy doing it. Your good.

I've tried higher-intensity routines before, but I could never keep them up long-term. This one is different—it’s kept me engaged, and the consistency has my body feeling great. This was hard for me. I think I don’t have enough side hip strength to keep my long legs up! Also, I couldn’t lift both my legs while facing down. Loved the arm exercises because I really felt the burn!
