Yngwie Malmsteen - Rising Force

Odyssey was... what, the fourth Yngwie J. Malmsteen album? He was still using the band moniker Rising Force, but he was shedding vocalists at the speed of one every album, and by his next album, if memory serves, he would part ways with his lightning fast keyboard player, Jens Johansson, and most bass players were replaced by Yngwie himself... so in due time he gave up on pretending he had a stable band alongside.
I'm a little unsure of the chronology, but Joe Lynn Turner left Yngwie's outfit to go sing with Deep Purple, which caused the Swede some pride because he acknowledged Ritchie Blackmore as an influence.
