Chuck Wright resigns after 20 years as Spartanburg County sheriff

Carrying a gun and a badge does not make you above the law. When you make a choice to enforce the law that means you too must abide by it.

I believe Chuck was a great Sheriff,and he's probably resigning because he's tired of dealing with this mess. I believe he is an honorable guy.

Good he should resign and I hope he’s brought up on charges. He’s been doing crooked crap for years. Definitely let warrants takin out on me with no merit even after proof of my residency accross the United States was proven he still let somebody I don’t even know take false charges out on me and I beat them every time. I’m guessing he knew the girl he had too bc I sure didn’t. And he kept letting it happen. I hope he gets locked up. And what’s so crazy is this man knows my whole family went to school with my uncles and Aunts. This man loves black people. Trust me it’s some crap behind him going on and I hope they find out. Hope it gets worse Chuck

Don’t judge a book by its cover. If he wasn’t doing his job he wouldn’t have been voted in all those years.

Sheriff Crenshaw of oconee county ,sc needs to start inforcing the immigration law!!!!! Citizens are tired of him!!

People can say what they want but I know for a fact that Chuck Wright has been a champion in protecting this county for many, many years. He by all accounts that I've ever heard is a great man. If Spartanburg loses him, we'll lose a good one.

I love the old guy hope his life turns out great . I would have loved been in law enforcement I n Spartanburg sc . Were I am from I ended up in Horry county. And getting ready to retire. All though I have loved my job . I am ready for the next chapter
