This is how I ended up with imposter syndrome and a wonderful lack of self esteem. No matter how high I scored it could have been higher. On one side I do understand the reasoning behind it but it ain’t funny having any achievements you have met with it was not good enough

For those who couldn’t read Chinese, the last student in her text to her mother.

Mom: It’s fine, mom never asked you to be a valedictorian

my mom wouldnt do the same…..i remember when i was younger back in 6th grade,my teacher gave me biology worksheets for extra lessons and ive never really seen those since we only learn those in 7th grade upsards…i only got 4 wrong i got grounded 😔

Good test taker does not guarantee a successful life. A lot of good test takers ended up being employees, while non successful test takers become successful business owners.

Remember folks, if you have the options, do not choose to get reborn in East Asia. Japan, Korea, China, overstressed students. Exams that are make or break for your future. I've witnessed many of these students who aced these exams but failed to make the grades in their university later on.
