Great Videos! I have a question: How would you connect 4 monitors to this Lenovo ThinkPad P15v ?

I have a Thinkpad E15 20TDS0G200 Laptop. It has only a Thunderbolt port for charging, it does not have a separate port for charger. I think the dual cable charger wont work with it. Can this dock still work with the laptop just by connecting the Thunderbolt cable?

Im not sure there are even any DDR5 Ram thinkpads with this keyboard right? It seems all the new ones have reduced the travel and flattened the bottom of some of the keys. These are a steal right now like $1500 on ebay.

The default T600 Quadro (35W) can be slower than the Radeon 680m.
In fact, the 680m is much faster in Universe Sandbox.
On Gravity benchmark, they are quite close to one another… with the T600 being just slightly faster).
The T600 is there purely as an ISV certified card for professional apps.

Could you do me a huge favor? I bought the Universal version of this docking station, which comes with a 135W power supply (same one as came with the laptop) otherwise the hub is exactly the same, but it doesn't come with that combo split Thunderbolt 4/power cable. I am trying to verify that if I purchase the cable separately that when the hub is powered by the 135W input supply it will power & charge the laptop. I would really appreciate it, thank you.

My P15v Gen 3 is Intel. I assume it will work also, correct? Do you know if a 3rd monitor from the laptop HDMI port can be added?

Thanks for this. Lenovo's website is useless, it says the C port is only USB 3.2. This answers a lot of important questions.
I wonder if it's worth getting the higher end GPU if not gaming. Only running 2x 4k displays with CAD software, nothing too heavy. Main desire is for some transcoding of video and maybe some low end AI stuff. Might make more sense to get an eGPU dock, doesn't need massive bandwidth so even chained to the other Thunderbolt dock it should be fine.

Does this Thunderbolt 4 Dock supports "dual" 1440p at both 144hz refresh rate? Thanks: )

Are you still using this laptop and this dock? How has it held up? I've seen reports of the P15v AMD's USB-C port dying after using it with this TB-4 Workstation Dock. Have you had any issues?

Thanks for the video! I have a p15v gen 3 intel. I am gonna run 2 external displays LG 24UD58-B Monitor 24" 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) IPS Display, FreeSync. Do you think that will work just fine? Also I have sent reviews where people say there’s a lot of issues with this doc such as screen flicker and even some of the usb ports randomly disconnecting. Have you had any issues? Thanks in advance.

Have you tested this on Linux? I have the same laptop and am looking at getting this dock but I'm not sure if it will work on Linux.

Can it drive external monitor above 60hz ? ( 100 or 144 ?) if so up to which resolution ? does it support DSC ?
