I found the first scene where he got the fruit to be badass but kinda dumb. How did he pull off such a strong attack with such good control within a literal minute of getting the fruit. Same with Blackbeard

I think Black Beard was confident enough to Burguess defeat Luffy and get Mera Mera no Mi. We normally think that Burguess is too weak. But, maybe that's not the case, maybe Saboo is too strong. He becomes #2 in revelucionary army even being too young without and an akuma no mi, he's a genius. He faces an admiral and get out alive from fight. Akumas no mi are not easy to control, and Sabo was able to use it against an admiral.
