Funny thing I been waiting for 3 month,s to get the full size scout pro and all I can get out of surefire is parts issues or shipping issues or backorderd. If you can,t get parts to make,m and you can,t ship then why all of a sudden this add- video. Just talked to them on phone two days ago and thats whatI was told.😐

Your G2X need an update. I think the current version is around 7 years old.

What is the color temp? Cool white or a warmer yellow? How’s the performance in punching through photonic barriers? Is there any spill at all or just a laser focused hot spot? Will your remote switches wiring handle the higher current? Will they lower the candela or lumen output and can they cause overheating the wiring or switch mechanism?

I have the SF Turbo and the Olight Valkyrie Turbo a LEP and the LEP is way better than the SF Turbo LED light! SF make a LEP light

Massive L on getting rid of the 2 stage switches. Unfortunately will have to pass on these DFT EDC lights because of that

We’re gonna need a “gas pedal” type tail cap switch (like what is currently offered on your standard EDC handheld offerings). That interface on a handheld is vastly superior for just about every situation. Whether it’s a shoot house, on the trails, or at work. I own tons of these things, going back to the “Laser Products” days 😉

Trying to decide which light to buy and you guys have so many patterns and models. This was very helpful and I really appreciate the info!

I wish those handheld lights had a tactical strobe. Also, I guess I really can’t blink it fast on high because if I clicked on and off, it’s just gonna go between high and low. Disappointed about that.

Can I use Flat top batteries in the EDC2-DFT?

I refuse to pay >$300 for a weapon light, that doesn’t come with a tape switch. I realize that Surefire’s light throw is spectacular, but, realistically, if you engage a home intruder at those distances, you’re going to jail. That, and your ordinary buyers, aren’t hunting the Taliban, at 500 yards.

Can you buy a Turbo head and for the Ultra body?

Which of the new light. Offer the narrower beam? I want something that will not reflect back into an optic when bouncing off the suppressor. The light will be mounted on the left forearm.

Though these are on my radar for a build I’m doing, I’m finding it hard to justify the $$. Shouldn’t (one of) the most expensive lights also be the best with the best quality and most up to date technology and features? This lineup seems to be lacking in at least one of those categories.
