Absidioles by Bernard Andrès Cherry Ge

Bernard Andrès is a French harpist, teacher, and and a leading composer for the harp. Published in 1974, Absidioles was a piece inspired by church architecture (much like Narthex, his flute and harp duo piece), the fact of which is most prominent in the two slower sections of the piece. It also features a unique and exotic timbre, owing largely to the years Andrés spent on the island of Bali.
