Just found this channel from the small tractor/big hog video lol I like your video style, have a good day!
ОтветитьThat’s handy as a shirt pocket. I didn’t even know they made one ☝️. Good job and video..
ОтветитьBrock the next upgrade is a hydraulic side link as well, I have both top and side and it makes so much work way easier! Also that top link with a brush hog makes cutting taller brush easy.
ОтветитьAs usual, great commentary, content, thanks for sharing. I continue to be a fan of the channel!
ОтветитьThere’s a ‘crescent hammer’ in every toolbox. Good morning. Billy
ОтветитьI went cheap on my 1025r got a tractor supply hydraulic top link. Didn’t last a year just had to upgrade too a Summit Hydraulic top link. Going cheap didn’t work out for me. My kubota mx6000 is 5 years old. The kubota top-n-tilt has lasted with no issues.
ОтветитьI've had the vevor hydralic top link for 2yrs now, no issues with it. We'll worth the money
ОтветитьHowdy Brock! If nothing else I've learned 2 things from you over the years - I need rear hydraulics, and I need a hydraulic top link lol. Just to make sure I would be using the right tools... were those metric crescent wrenches or standard? 🤣 Well done and thanks for sharing 🤠
ОтветитьMorning
ОтветитьI ended up putting a manual diverter on my toplink. works well when the rear remotes are already in use. Good video and I agree, a hydro toplink is a must for anything you do with the 3pt
ОтветитьMorning
ОтветитьBrok I might be wrong but check valves are usually set up to the ram so you where lucky not to affect the second cylinders performance by restricting oil flow. Now I have a story about the check valve that stopped the attachment it was meant to protect from working i suspect it didn't need a check valve we never worked out what cursed the problem
ОтветитьGreat job
ОтветитьHALF YOUR ISSUES CAN BE PREVENTED JUST BY READING THE 📚 INSTRUCTIONS. THEY HAVE APPS THAT IT WILL READ IT 📚 TO YOU OUT LOUD. 😂😂😂 AND THE USUAL COMMENT GENERATOR AND CLICK BAITING 😂😂😂
ОтветитьA good hydraulic top link certainly makes connecting and dropping implements easier. As you point out, you don't need to fool about getting the top link length perfect. Also, quite often, you only need to be able to get 1 side link on easy (if no length adjusting available) and then can use the top link to skull-drag the implement forward-backward to match the other side link pin. Another hydraulic link in place of the sway bars/chains can also be useful for some gear. A pair of dual output hydraulic taps would probably be cheaper than an additional Spool Valve - once hooked up you only occasionally need to adjust the top link length.
ОтветитьOh yes , the cresent hammer . Good tool . Looks like a nice top link . Hope it works like you want , Brock .
Ответитьhate to say but vevor has several lawsuits against most recent a person lost their life usually one of their products - also they keep moving their corporate around - you can never find their address
ОтветитьThat seems like a really nice quick and relatively inexpensive upgrade (as long as you have the remotes of course).
ОтветитьAnytime you are attaching a new item to your hydraulic system you bleed the air out first. Then recheck the reservoir so that it remains full!
ОтветитьAbsolutely need hydraulics in the rear! A hydraulic top link should be first, but a close second is at least one hydraulic side link. I prefer mine on the ride. If I’m only gonna have one, you’ll be amazed with this does to improve the quality of your work and ease of operation not having to get off the machine and make adjustments. It’also makes it easier to connect attachments.
ОтветитьI just ordered that same top link from amazon though because that is where I stared searching and it will be in Mar 28
ОтветитьHYDRAULIC top links are soooo convenient. I am so glad we got one when we bought our tractor. We also had the option to add 3 rear remotes so we have room to grow as we add attachments with extra hydraulic features.
I would recommend that you get a multiplier from Summit hydraulics so you can have more than 2 on your current tractor.
I agree. I got one and just need to put it on.
ОтветитьThe 3rd factory remote option for the T574 is fairly reasonably priced and seems to be an easy install. I'm having the dealer install mine before delivery. Hasn't arrived yet though.
ОтветитьHey Brock, we enjoy your videos. Many of us small property owners really watch our spending habits. So we appreciate how you share value add-ons or tractor implements. With that in mind would you mind to tell us what fuel economy you have with your TYM 574? Looking at one, but hard to find any info on how much fuel it use, in situations such as brush cutting. We cut 20 acres of open field all summer long. TIA
ОтветитьYou should bump it up to 2 or 3 videos a day😂
ОтветитьI just spent 40 k on a new Kubota L4060le and HD 6' mower. Maybe in a couple years I can add rear remotes and a top/ tilt kit. I absolutely love my new Kubota. Smooth, quiet engine and hydrostatic transmission with anti stall and six ranges of gears.
ОтветитьGreat top link❤
ОтветитьThe only problem is PTO lenght by changing the angle too steep or too far it affects the length and might bottom out or pull out.
ОтветитьI had to add flow restrictors to mine to smooth out operation during extension. But man I love the top link
ОтветитьThat noise on the extension stroke, is why you need a flow restrictor… a .031” would work really well
ОтветитьAhm, believe it or not I just installed this exact same item least than 3 hours ago. Seems to work so far.
ОтветитьI actually bought the same exact top link a few months ago and have never been more disappointed. Idk if my tractor is too big or what but I felt like it had too much give in it. It wasn’t firm. And I found it to be the exact opposite of what you said it was harder to hook up because I would have to get on and off the tractor to extend or retract it when with a regular top link I can just adjust it from the ground. So now it’s just another decoration on the wall of my barn. Not trying to be negative though just sharing my experience
ОтветитьUseful tool for the tractor :)
ОтветитьI’ve been aware of hydraulic top links and tilt links for probably 40 years and sold a few over the years. But I just added a 2nd rear remote to my Kubota MX4800 and then put on my new Cat 2 hydraulic top link. Works good for the rotary cutter and, as you mentioned, making it easier to hook up implements. I’m looking forward to using it on my Baumalight 3P24 stump grinder so I can extend the top link to drop the stump grinder disc deeper into the ground.
ОтветитьI have a 21' Mahindra 1635 and I added the remotes and front aux myself putting it all together piece by piece a little at a time i have three remotes on rear and front aux so i have top and tilt and spare to angle a blade or my rake mothon like it every travtor should have them
ОтветитьI've never used a hydraulic toplink, but I can definitely see the benefits of having one.
ОтветитьWhy no quick attach for 3pt?
ОтветитьI added one to my tractor last year. It's great for hooking up, especially with the quick hitch on, lets you really manuver to get the pins on. Have to disconnect it for snow season as the blower takes both remotes. I probably just need a 3rd remote set!
ОтветитьWould not want to ever be without my hyd. top link.
ОтветитьThis is why I got 3 aux hydraulic ports on my tractor. It amazes me when people spend $40k or $50k for a tractor and don't add as many aux ports as possible. It's only a few hundred more per port when you buy it but it gets far more expensive to add after the sale. Even a good diverter valve is cheaper but still more money and complicated than adding it at time of sale. I've never heard anyone regret getting too many aux ports on their tractor but I hear people regret not getting enough every day. I got as many as you could get from the factory.
ОтветитьI have a vevor top link on my t503, using it for about a yr, made a world of difference on moving big round bales of hay.
