Mimic challenge #ytccc2021 woodturning a Lumiere candelabra figurine, multi axis turning

This is my project for the May #ytccc2021 challenge. Boy was it a challenge, I mixed a couple of turning techniques into this one. I did some multi axis turning in different directions. Some finial turning followed by steam bending it. Then some resin casting and turning. I did some carving to that was a challenge in itself. I have carved lots of patterns, flutes and things like flowers, but never a face before. Make sure to subscribe and set your notifications.
