I was thinking that the trick with these kinds of products is to start with the darkest colour first to make sure that the depth is not washed out 😊❤❤❤

Patty, your first impressions/reviews are always so good! I’m not impressed with these at all. Also, I love Rephr but am disappointed bc these are made in China. I’m no longer buying anything made in china.

I’m not interested in these at all 😅 but I’m here supporting Patty ❤ I don’t understand why people get so defensive at any negative feedback or criticism about this brand 😂🤷🏻‍♀️ it’s only makeup ! But as I learned the hard way while watching Morgan’s review (which wasn’t great) some troll comes at me in the comments calling me “judgmental” 🤣🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s insanity !!! I personally have never really been a fan of this brand & these palettes are also made in china … Morgan noted there’s no depth & the creams fade & crease pretty badly …

I gave up on cream shadows, my eyelids are too oily for this type of formula, so is a pass for me. 😒

I think the powder shadow took away a lot of the depth. It looked mych nicer before you ”set” it.

They both are beautiful but I really love the “Griege” shades best and I’m so glad because that is the palette I ordered😉 Although I have olive skin I usually am pretty close if not spot on to your skin color so you always help me out when choosing shades. Your face and gorgeous eyes se prestan para cualquier maquillaje que te pongas 🥰

Great review beautiful Patty 💕 the rephr brushes are top notch I’ve been using them for years glad they expanded their offerings. The eyeshadows are a pass for me I love the shimmery shades but I have many of these from PML and ND on my collection 😊

Patty, I have to say CONGRATULATIONS 🎉, I can tell you really understood what Huda meant with the creation of these palettes. So far you are the only one who knows how to use them.

You did an amazing job with these. Not picking this one up personally since I have a bit more mature eyes than you and worry about creasing on me.

If you have hooded eyes , these will crease. Major.

I already got the cooler toned Matte Obsessions last year, so I’m gonna get the more neutral one. I just hope this won’t crease on me tho. Can’t tell😬🤷🏾‍♀️

I reckon that setting shade washes the dark colour out and you lose the depth. I would skip that part.

My eyelids can get so so dry and getting older i am using more cream eyeshadows, however, i have noticed that its better to work from dark to light and then re intensify any lash line once finished. I combine with make up forever artist pencils as they dont budge once blended and set. I’d start with darkest and pat out using a transition rather than swiping the darker into lighter, that seems to wash out the darker shades placing over lighter shades. Try working the other way round and see if it makes a difference.

I think these might be better as companion palettes so they can be combined with matte shadows. Or maybe the creams can be used for one and done looks only! 🤷‍♀️ I might grab them at the end of year Huda sale!

Hi Patty! I hope you are doing well in your pregnancy. I loved both looks you did with these palettes. I do totally get though where you say they just blend in together and to me it looks like there is not much definition between the shades. How do you think this cream formula is compared to the new Natasha Denona Hy-per Natural formula?

Honestly, Huda broke the Pretty Grunge into two palettes and made them cream formulas. Already have the Grunge palette, no need for these. Period.

I've never really liked her obsession palettes. I love her large palettes that typically come out around holiday. I wish the brand would either release them more often or use the same sourcing for the obsession palettes. The quality is not the same. It is unfortunate because the smaller palettes typically have more colorful color stories than the large palettes.

On the first look the depth seems to be fading as you're filming. On Morgan turner it wasn't very buildable at all and they creased pretty badly on the inner part of her eyes.

I already ordered brushes !! I think was like $36 bucks!! Great price
