Great Sunday cleaning . I’m in Texas it was 80 degrees was so nice .

We left our son at 6 weeks old with his grandparents and we took a little vacation. I think parents need a break every now and then

I just got to todays video. It’s been a day 😂. Lots of cleaning. I hate garbage cans that sit out 😂😂😂.

Hi Jamie! You always so such a great job cleaning! Love that your girls have such a great relationship with their grandparents!

I do the same thing with my oven racks and the trash bag, but I actually use oven cleaner and it works really well. I use the fume free but next time I think I’m gonna use the real stuff since I’m going outside with it so even works better.

Jamie, how do you keep your hands from drying out with the cold temperatures and the cleaning products? My hands get so dry during the winter when I'm cleaning.
I completely agree on keeping the garbage can in the cabinet. Love hate it haha. But I guess it's better than being out in the open and in the way. Looks better too.
I am going to use some dawn on my counters too. See if that makes them look better. Thanks!

Please do not ever take your childrens time with grandparents for granted. They are so gracious to take your children overnight. Life dynamics can change in an instant. My mother was so so close to my two babes, I was a SAHM and my mom and I shared so many sweet daily adventures together as I learned how to be a mom myself. My mom passed away at age 68 last May. It has been so heartbreaking learning how to navigate life without my mommy, let alone help my kids learn how to live without their grandmother who loved them as her own. The bond between grandparents and grandchildren is so uniquely special, impactful and lasting. xo

Really like your bedding set. However, I think you should find a better way to arrange your pillows. Not the most esthetic.

You should see how many trash cans we have for the garbage collections in the UK... one for paper and card, one for garden and grass, one for batteries, one for food, one for textiles, one for glass and cans etc and one for non recyclables lol... actually I think you'd love it 😅

I'm currently trying to tackle my Spring cleaning and I'm cursing myself that I didn't call to have it done. With injuries last year and not feeling well it's made it so difficult but I can't not do it.

Thank you for an awesome and very motivational video! I noticed you used dawn dish soap with warm water to clean your kitchen counters and loved that! That is what I have to use on my kitchen counters because they are quartz countertops. I also use dawn dish soap to clean my bathroom counters and the fiberglass showers in my spare bathrooms and it really cleans them good. The counter tops that I have in the bathrooms only need mild soap and water to be cleaned or you can get a wet cloth and wipe messes up. I like that something as mild as Dawn will clean up a lot and do a good job! Hope you have a great rest of your week.

I had to chuckle a bit when you said you don’t travel much because just wait… with 1, 2 or all your girls in travel/club sports you’ll be all over the country!! In the past year with club volleyball we’ve been to Vegas, Atlanta, Boston, Louisville, Cleveland and more, and it’s amazing! Wouldn’t trade it for anything :))

Both my husband and I have outside of the home full-time jobs so it is very difficult. I at least make sure the downstairs is always clean. My kids can’t just spend the weekend somewhere. But we are grateful for what we have.

No spring cleaning for me today. Live in Lubbock Texas and it’s snowing today, in April, so odd.

I have my husband unlatch the oven door and then I use Bar Keepers Friend (the cream formula in a bottle) and a green scrub pad, it works great! Taking off the door makes it so much easier to really get in the oven. Just my little hack to make the chore easier. 😊

I am not doing any spring cleaning right now. I just underwent a pretty major hernia repair surgery on Wednesday (April 2nd) and got released from the hospital on Thursday. I am in a fair amount of pain and I am moving pretty slow. Even the simplest tasks are incredibly difficult and require a lot of effort. I figure that the mess will still be waiting for me once I am healed and feeling like a better, more productive version of myself. My house right now looks like a train wreck and anyone stopping over will likely think that I never clean my house (which couldn't be further from the truth), but I have to give myself grace. This too shall pass and in the meantime it is far more important to be patient and allow my body the time that it needs to fully heal and recover.

I wish that was the case...being completely at ease when grandparents take our kids. Unfortunately for me and even a few friends..we dont even fully trust our own parents with our kids esp with younger babies. They hit, they yell, they feed them trash and rely on too much screen time. I would love to have my son's grandparents be on the same page or just respect 100% of how we raise our kids so we can be totally at ease when they watch them for us but instead ive had to equip my son with phrases like "I cant eat dye it hurts my tummy." and "Can we have a healthy meal instead of McDonald every week?"
