Never knew of her farm career. She was very interesting.

What’s wrong with asking her about Bewitched? Ridiculous snobbery. Acting is acting. If it was beneath her then she would have never auditioned for the sitcom. Acting is not all about serious acting like Shakespeare. If I was interviewing her, I would have asked about Bewitched!!

She always scared me as a child

And she ended up with a BA in Biology and a master in English.

Agnes reminds me of my grandmother, who inherited the farm after her husband died. She and her son ran it. She continued with a 2-acre garden until her '90s. And she'd walk around the house in a bright flowy day dress.

She was a really good character actress.

What a sophisticated lady she was, besides being an extraordinary actress. Agnes Moorehead was so intelligent and one in a million. Thank you for sharing this interview. She seemed always intriguing to me and that, by itself, is so fascinating. A serious and consummate professional. There are no more Agnes Mooreheads in Hollywood, unfortunately.

Agnes Morehead was a beautiful true Lady. She was extremely private and in rare interviews like this, she kept the conversation neutral. Her career left us with a plethora of fascinating movies. She will always be one of my most favorites.

More interesting than today's actors who pretend to be something they're not.

Great family ancestry she had prior to her acting career and interestingly, she was a farmer outside of her acting career.

What really showed her talent and courage, was in the film, "Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte".
She plays a wretched cleaning woman to the hilt.

Moorehead was (is) an incredible treasure.
......and Cavett's quoting Kaufman's father, "Sample everything in life but incest and folk music" is hilarious! I wrote that one down. 😆

Gifted actress

Tabitha (Erin Murphy) remembered Endorra and Dick York as the two stars on the show that were kindest to her. Between scenes Moorehead and York would play with her, but Elizabeth Montgomery would just disappear into her dressing room. She said on Australian television how she adored Endorra and the first Darrin, and considered them as real family.

That was and is good advice. Get an education.

I loved Agnes Moorehead in the movie Caged (1950) , Hush Hush Sweet Charlote , and as the voice of the goose in Charlote's Web ! She was a class act! She died a couples days before I was born on April 30,1974 😢😢😢
