2025 Camry SE vs 2024: Did Toyota Get It Right?

Honestly I like them both! However I prefer a v6. If they stopped making a camry v6 then they need to bring back the avalon v6.

I have a 2024 XSE V6 and the fact that my Camry is the last year of the V6 makes it a bit "special" to me. It offers something that the 2025 does not. It's not a sports car and the acceleration doesn't push you back into your seat, but owning a car that can be considered at least "quick" was a bucket list item for me. 300hp is much more than anything I have ever owned and it does make it easier to pass and merge. I am satisfied with the fuel economy, which is as good as or slightly better than what my 153hp 2010 Mazda 5 with a 2.3 liter 4-cylinder got. At the end of the day all the versions of the Toyota Camry are great. If I had been considering a 2024 4-cylinder or 4-cylinder hybrid, waiting for the 2025 would have been the better choice. The appearance of a car isn't very important to me, just what is underneath that veneer. I actually think Kia and Hyundai have the best looking cars but they seriously need to improve their reliability and quality control before I would consider getting one.

The se comes with 16 wheels, not 18

Had a 06 Prius for 18 years, mostly when I had a full time job 12 miles away. When I retired, I found my battery went dead in a few days if I didn't drive it. Hybrids have a fan for the battery system that blows all the time which can deplete the battery. So, if you don't drive much, stick with the 2024 non-hybrid Camery. My Prius died recently , and I bought a 2023 Camery SE, very similar to the 2024. I don't have to worry about the battery going dead after only 2 days, anymore.

Eh I really like the front end of the 24 Camry better. Wish they didn’t change the front end. Do like the updated tail lights on the 25 tho.

I just got back from the dealership. Traded my 2023 Camry LE in for the 2025 Camry SE. Definitely gets to speed much quicker. Still have to get used to hybrid though.

A 2024 V6 XSE would blow the doors out of this year's model.

I'll stick with "23" camry se Nightshade. Not with the hybrid stuff. Especially when I can squeeze 40+ mpg under 70mph. But really gets me is you CAN get the new "25" camry WITH an 8 speed auto and natural 4 cylinder...in the middle east.

Definitely prefer the 24 front back and the seat so comfortable on the back, no odd forward tilt at the top to give me back pain.

Just bought a 2025 Camry and paid cash $35000 and I love love this car it’s bad ass I got the se with 18 inch rims and of course it has leather. It’s a beautiful car inside and out. Also it has a wireless charger for your phone as well and that screen is crisp and clear.

2025 got a cvt transmission trash won’t last 10 years

2025 blows it out of the water in every aspect. people say they like the front of 24 but I disagree 25 looks more prestigious

I like the fact that they get rid of the "vent" in the rear side fender.

2024 seems like 5 years ago compared to the 25

2025 looks bad ima be honest.. looks "as_ " to me 2024 looks alot more like a frog thats true wich is bad
But the 2025 front.. looks like a cheap metalic frog

I just replaced my 2025 Kia K5 GT line with a 2025 Camry SE all wheel drive. Toyota definitely builds a better car.

I've noticed that the 2025 camry is bigger. The 2025 camry is nothing but the new Avalon.

The reason why I drive a gen 8 because it looks aggressive. Gen 9 looks like a Kia and Hyundai had a baby

No hybrids for me. I'll be looking at other cars instead.

It's basically same car just with less options and offering 1 hybrid trim. We had Gas Model, Hybrid, V6 even TRD now its all the same hybrid

Rear room is less in 2025

they ruined it style wise the sporty look is gone and even the hp went down i get it gas mileage but give it a v6 like the old one for those who want faster cars and dont mind to sacrafice mpg cmon toyota thats why they make a prius if u want good gas get that guys

I absolutely love the 2024 design!!! I’m not a big fan of the exterior of 2025 but Camry’s either are great cars overall no matter year

In my opinion, this is a step down. No V6, no geared transmission. $44,000... for a 4 cylinder with less power than the old model!!

Some of us can't afford a $60,000 Supra, because money and also life reasons. So it's always good to have an alternative. A good, reliable, practical, cheap to insure vehicle, but with the option of having a chunky, powerful engine and a proper geared transmission.
