'Night Owls' LAUREL & HARDY FILM COLOURISED 1930

Night Owls is a classic film by Laurel & Hardy. This version has been colourised and it is the first colourised version of a Laurel & Hardy film I've ever uploaded. To be honest it's because the original was copyrighted and I was unable to upload it, but this version was allowed. If nobody likes these adulterated versions then I won't upload any more colourised versions. If the reaction is positive, then I'll upload more of these versions.
This is one of my favourites, our intrepid heroes are homeless and the corrupt local Police Superintendent wants to stage a fake robbery on the Police Chief's, (The awesome James Finlayson of 'Dooooooooh!' fame), home so he can receive praise for foiling it. He therefore needs a couple of patsies/dummies to commit the deed and fulfill his deception. I'm sure you can guess where Stan and Ollie fit in to this plot.......
My absolutely insane fact for this film is that Stan and Ollie filmed an alternate version of this film made entirely in Esperanto.......yes, you read that right......Esperanto. Speaking it phonetically from phonetically written scripts. This version is unfortunately now lost forever. That is lost media I would love to see!
