Thanks for the update. I am coming in 2 weeks time, hopefully no flooding by then. Take care & stay safe.
ОтветитьThanks for the update. Will visit Songkhla again before the end of the year.
ОтветитьHi Phil, Thanks for the updates. Your updates is the Best I have got, really appreciate it very much. Since the flood situation has improve, I am planning to go there next Thursday. Should there be any adverse change of situation, I would appreciate your updates. Stay safe, take care bro.
ОтветитьThank you for the updates. I have only lived in U Taphao for a year after moving from the safer area of Thung Sao in Hat Yai. My wife’s idea 🤔. We came very close to flooding and yes, the water has receded a little in this area near Wat Tha Sae. Been going through your videos and you provide great knowledge of the area. Thanks again.
ОтветитьThanks for the update. I just left Hatyai on Monday before this massive rain.
ОтветитьThanks and appreciate the updates, hopefully everything will be back to normal soon...👍👍
ОтветитьMy wife's family's house in Tung Sao was inundated in 2010 but has been spared (so far) this time. Yes, I think the local authorities are doing a much better job this time.
ОтветитьThank you so much for these updates. Supposed to be in Hat Yai in a weeks time, and heading to Penang via road after that. Fingers crossed the worst of it is over.
ОтветитьThailand i am told is basically a basin. Every year is indeed a worry. you are right, every decade, if hatyai doesn't improve the drainage of flood water further as well as cleanliness (as what i was told about 2010 flood), it will be a eventually another disaster. You take care mate. Good to see you've adapted to local life and culture!
ОтветитьAlleluia! Today was the first rain-free day in some while where I am.. and I was thinking hope it's the same some 500km to the north, and looks like it was! Thanks for the vid.. and all the best to your in-laws in their cleaning up efforts.
Now my attention turns back to Christmas, Trang and หมูย่าง! 😋
ThankGod for today.
ОтветитьMost of the affected areas are the flat lands
ОтветитьHaadyai literally meaning Big beach. I had experience getting caught in the flood in Haadyai almost 40 years ago. Terrible 3 days without fresh water and electricity. No help whatsoever from authority. I stayed at Indra hotel at that time. It was one day before Loy Krathong festival and the whole of Haadyai turned into a big pond....LOL. Mae Khongkha must be angry.
ОтветитьIn Narathiwat-Town the water is very slowly receding. The road in front of our house is still flooded. We live right next to the Bang Nara River, so any change in river level will be immediately noticeable. Fingers crossed for better times.
Good luck in Hat Yai, Phil. My wife left Hat Yai for Yala yesterday, which was doable via Na Thawi. Now getting home to Narathiwat is a different matter.
I hope everything will be normal before 18 Dec. I am also concern how's the road condition and situation after the flood recede.
ОтветитьHow about the highway leads to Surat thani, Hua Hin and Bangkok? Are the roads affected and impacted by the flood? Thanks.
ОтветитьThank you for another update. Looks like Hatyai especially the downtown area is going to pull through this time.
ОтветитьStay safe 🙏
ОтветитьThe worst has yet to come. This is just a prelude of what Mother Nature will "gift" mankind if they don't take Global Warming seriously.
ОтветитьGUTEN MORGEN GOEDE DAG ............ MATSU
ОтветитьGood afternoon Sir, thanks again for the updated, be alert when going out. God bless.
