It's lovely, but it is intended for a specific environment that exists in Korea. It will not grow as well if you plant it in a very different environment. Stick to native plants as much as possible! They are already adapted to the place where you live!

It’s zoysia. It grows like that if you don’t mow it. I have it and love it. I live in the south ( US)

I have seen a grass hay that is equally fluffy and puzzling... It may come from the same stuff. I would expect super fluffy hay to choke horses.

This grass is itchy as heck if you dont mow it. Really pointy, and since its so dense and short its also kinda rigid and pokey.
