Have a pair of beautiful Ferragamo navy leather/suede loafers. They’re 40 years old and still fabulous.

I never had much interest in shoes. Until...my grandmother passed and she and I wore the same size. (At one time 30 40,s she was a shoe model) it still didn't impress me but I kept the shoes (most of them). But. Then. I discovered several boxes of shoe buckles. I then lost my mind and became a shoe 👞 person. Look out imelda. Here I am.

THANK YOU for highlighting this designer!! I started buying in the mid-80s and sadly my favorite black mules finally split on the side by the sole….not sure they can be repaired - have had them for at least 32 years and have worn them TO DEATH!

My classic black purse hasn’t seen daylight in quite some time because I cheated on Salvator and fell in love with another purse design - sorry! However, I still really like his shoes - lots of them are very practical, especially the loafers and spectators…..but because they are made in Italy, they can run a little narrow, so if you buy them, don’t be surprised if you have to go up a size (or two).

They ARE worth the money, especially if you stick to the classics!

Hi I'm wondering HOW you decide which 'weird' shoe & bag designs will become classics and which will fade into obscurity, cuz that's something I notice a lot in big brand products. What are your criteria to decide if it's worth the investment? 🤔

A few years ago, I found a pair of classic Ferragamo loafers in pristine condition in a thrift store for $10 🤯🥳 They fit like a glove, and I've had people stop me to compliment them. My favorite was when the manager at Tiffany's saw me walking in, and even though I was being helped by someone else, he walked across the store to me and asked "Are those Ferragamos?" 😂😂
