The difference is, A 1911 is relatively inexpensive, even with special builds. A 2011 is ABSOLUTLY overpriced and 9mm sucks. You are paying for a name and a John Wick reference. You failed to mention that those 2011 "John Wick" pistols are $5,000 - 6,000, far out/over priced for an equivalent 1911. Even the competition/special made/option 1911s are way cheaper and multiple cambered options available. It's what I call the Harley Davidson effect, you are only paying for a name and movie reference.

If you need to put a red dot on a pistol you should probably only be shooting rifles and get rid of all your pistols you can't shoot at all

Hi I'm not a real gun person I have a couple of guns but I need I need to know if the 1911 is designated 1911 because of the type of grant it is the shape and the caliber 45 is that what makes it a 1911 because I want to buy a 2011 but then I'm looking for the staccato brand and it looks like a regular gun this may be a dumb question but I don't I don't understand what makes a 1911 or 1911 and a 2011 or 2011?

I actually like a solid frame gun because you might absorb more recoil but it takes so much out of the gun it's amazing. My double stack 9mm is snappy at 3 pounds or so and for me I can't get very accurate fast shots. My .45 1911 I can sling one handed like a cowboy. It's about the shooter and how they handle it not the gun (as long as its not functionally retarded like that cursed .357 hellboy revolver)

Paraordnance back the 1990s designed a 1911 frame with a wider grip and magazine in .45 ACP to fit 13 rounds. Heavy gun but great to shoot with but sucks to carry one around.

I've been a 1911 .45 ACP guy for many decades and own 35 of them. I've got no use for a 9mm 1911 and especially a 2011. Not sure what this craze is of late with them but I think they are dumb and pointless pistols. For 9mm high capacities I like and stick with my GLOCKs, Sig Sauer P-226/Mk25s, P-228s, P-229s, Beretta M9/92Fs, Browning Hi-Powers and CZ-75Bs. I even have three HK VP9s, two Walther PDPs just to name a few.

My RIA 1911A2 is a double stack 45.acp it takes the mag from the para ordinance P14-45. They make 20 round mags for it. So my EDC is a 1911 with 21 rounds of 45
