Well, it would have been nice if there were brand names in the description box
ОтветитьGreat to see that... I made it too. Using Woodprix handbooks :)
ОтветитьI was hoping for dog pee poured on each sample and left for 24 hrs and then a close examination of each sample...
ОтветитьWhat is going on with her outfit?
ОтветитьI thought they would talk about how pets can walk on these surfaces. We have laminate. My dog, a black lab, cannot walk on slippery surfaces at all, we had to carpet the stairs as she would fall.
ОтветитьSo no carpet, tile, vinyl, or LVT?
ОтветитьIf you have cats.... stainless steel. Trust me... if you have cats those damn things are pissing somewhere and you will not notice until it gets humid.
ОтветитьWhy can I not find tile looking floors in laminate for my kitchen which is 15x25 .I had a leak from my fridge and it ruined my floors.I love the ease of care of my laminate floors .Retired and they are easy care .I live in VA and no places seem to have anything here
ОтветитьThis video is so wrong wrong wrong... half true half false... don't assign any merit to this BS

ОтветитьHi Thea, This is Mike Patino. I am the man in this video. I have been a flooring professional for over 20 years, I would be happy to discuss with you your opinions and experiences that prompted you to write such a scathing review. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help provide a more informative video. Thanks for watching and your comments.
ОтветитьDon't ever go with wood or laminate if you have a dog. The whole thing about this "scratches" thing doesn't take into account the pet's health. On a shiny, slippery surface your pet will experience hip problems earlier in life and it can mess with paws. If you can REALLY easily slide across it in socks or your pet does what you see in videos about them whining at new floor.... You're hurting your pet. If you're remodeling and have a pet you should always try to go for a matte or textured surface to reduce slippage and also have carpet runners.
Ответитьbamboo is a terrible option...it is not as durable nor hard as advertised. Our's is 10 years old, had a 25 year warranty, and of course the company went out of business. The finish is shot and you cannot refinish...DON'T buy.
ОтветитьThey worry about the scratches but not about the damage slipping can do to your animals.
Ответитьthis guy is a sales man and is wrong....i am an architect and ALL ENGINEERED HARDWOODS scratch very easy. i would stay away from them all if you have dogs.
ОтветитьHooker shoes🤪
ОтветитьHow do you avoid being walked all over and price gouged by flooring contractors?
Ответитьmight have been nice if they showed a couple of real, solid, 3/4 inch hardwood examples, not just engineered or laminates. Real floors are tried and true. They stand up to animals human and otherwise- 40 yrs in floor biz
ОтветитьThe video seemed to only be concerned about scratches from pet. However, that is just a really small portion an owner of dogs that live in their home are concerned about. I clicked on the video thinking it would cover floors that are not as slippery for dogs, one that is not detrimental to their health (ie....hips) and one that assist with pee for those with new puppies and are training. Those that I mentioned are the most important. AFTER all of that is addressed, THEN we car about the scratches. Therefore, the video wasn't truly helpful in the scheme of things. I hope a better video is put up in the future. One that is actually helpful. Oh and it would need to include the names. Otherwise, why post?!?
ОтветитьAs a dog gets older, floors become a problem. Our oldies do not cope with laminate
ОтветитьNo LVP?
ОтветитьStay away from laminate real wood flooring if you have pet dogs. Vinyl is the right choice guys. Dogs urinate and will stain the seams and if they are low-end wood laminates, the "top finish" will peel off. And this was from a small 10 pounds dog, imagine a 30-pound dog, haha, complete destruction. You have been warned, guys
ОтветитьI can say from installing it that tile is very labor intensive. Do a bathroom or a kitchen first before planning to do a living room on your own. Get familiar with just how much work it takes before committing to a large area
ОтветитьJust installed Cortec LVP 6 months ago and my dog has completely ruined it scratches really easy . Hard to clean mislead by salesman this is not commercial grade .
ОтветитьTerrible video. Talk about podding and pooping on the flooring.
ОтветитьLooks like they are thinking about the health of the floor, not that of the pet. Strange.
ОтветитьMy 2 dogs managed to crack tile when dropping their dog bones. Unless the tiles were installed improperly and thats what really caused them to break apart? I would not recommend tiles if you have bigger dogs. Also if you have hardwood floors and the dogs might happen to have an accident while you are at work, and the wood is not sealed properly the wood will warp. So I guess laminate would be (my) best option? I will Never go with carpet. Lol
ОтветитьShe should have left those shoes at the store.
ОтветитьWhat about dog urine and mess resistance? Useless salesvideo
ОтветитьOur bunnies would slip and slide on these floors...lol
ОтветитьWhat about dog urine? That’s the most important parts with dealing with the pets. But I liked your wood looking ceramic tile idea
ОтветитьCan we say F me pumps. She knew what she was doing.
