I wish the two world wars had never happened! Maybe as a result, Germany could have become a truly united nation: Germany 1937 together with Austria, Liechtenstein, South Tyrol, Oedenburg, Sudetenland, Upper Silesia, Danzig and the Corridor, Memelland and Eupen. Maybe also with Alsace, German-speaking Lorraine, Luxemburg and Arel (Arlon). Perhaps the inclusion of German-speaking Switzerland is a bit too unrealistic! Germany did not sadly become united in 1871. The so-called German Empire of 1871-1918 was in effect a Prussian Empire and unfortunately excluded the German-speaking areas of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the so-called Little Germany solution suggested during the failed German revolution of 1848.

This video came to be when Imperial and me watched some "Alternate Nation" videos just to see how laughably unrealistic or even random some of them were.
First we thought about writing comments, but we thought everyone would just be like "Oh yeah?! Why don't you do it better if you pretend to be so good?!"
Then we raised the question:"Wait, why don't we actually do it better?". And that's how this video idea was born.

We tried to give a cause and explanation to every divergence done in this video. Our goal was to try and make an Alternate Nations video that
was as "realistic" as possible. Of course, the further we progress in the timeline the more we run into an area of complete speculation.
Nontheless we attempted to make this scenario as plausible as possible, hopefully in contrast to all those other really unrealistic or
random Alternate Nations videos that currently are popular.
