In the 70s we learned German from the war comics, "schweinehund, achtung, schnell, sieg heil, blitzkrieg, mein herr, luftwaffe, jawohl, nein , fuhrer. The English soldiers referred to them as the Jerries or the Huns. Its all coming back to me.
