Thank you for sharing your story Erica. It has brought me to tears and also remorse for my lack of consistent devotion to our Mother Mary who has always been a constant intercessor for me and my family especially during the time when I was praying for having a child.

Never in my wildest dreams that I ever think I would be a Catholic. I was always told they were the enemy. I tried every denomination underneath the Christian umbrella, found nothing in any of them till I finally walked into a Catholic church for a mass. I have been to one Catholic funeral as a kid, and I knew there was something special there. But that was a major no-no in our house.

My wife, Stormie, after 32 years of marriage, formally went through RCIA in New Orleans while carrying our third son who will be 30 years old this year. Unfortunately, she never had a convincing experience that was important her, to want to convert to the Catholic faith and now she says I’m “too Catholic” and need to stop Wanting to go to mass every day. Please pray that we will be able to reach that gift of our father’s eternal sustaining grace, in the best practices of knowing Jesus through how he builds his church, His One, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic CHURCH!
Any kind of attempt to create a reasoning conversation about the faith and how Jesus prayed for his catholic faith for all believers in John 17, makes her put her fingers in her ears and wants to not have any form of deliberation much less pray into our marriage as a Sacrament!

Question... Matthew 1:25
But he / Joseph did not have sexual relations with her until her son was born. And Joseph named him Jesus...
Why do Catholics believe Mary is a perpetual virgin?

Great video. I did see a documentary about the very first Protestant denomination, the Lutheran’s under Martin Luther, and the Protestant Lutheran historian himself described them as “Reformed Roman Catholic”…😮

Luther didn't like the Catholic Church, he protested and the Lutheran Church was created. Calvin disliked the Lutheran Church and founded the Reformed or Calvinist Church. Henry VIII did not like being denied a Catholic marriage and founded the Anglican Church. John Smith disliked the Anglican Church and founded the Baptist Church. William Miller disliked the Baptist Church and founded the Adventist Church. Ellen White really liked what William Miller said and founded the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Charles T Russell disliked the Adventist Church and founded Jehovah's Witnesses. Joseph Smith disliked the Methodist Church and founded the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons). John Wesley disliked the Anglican Church and founded the Methodist Church. Some pastors did not like the Methodist Church and founded the Pentecostal Church. Many people disliked the Pentecostal church and founded thousands of new sects on "how to stop suffering", Assemblies of God, sects that preach financial prosperity, earthly riches, etc. Can you imagine how many souls will go to hell because of Luther, directly or indirectly? MEMORANDUM: Before the Bible, the Church already existed. The Bible is the fruit of the Church. The truth was not tied, it became incarnate, the truth is not an idea or a thing, or it is only tied to a book, the truth is a Person, Christ! The Second Person of the Holy Trinity, Head of the Church which is His Body, the Body that gave us the Bible.

I am a lapsed cradle Catholic, one of twelve , Irish Catholic family who prayed on our knees every night the family Rosary, I am grateful for my roots and my parents for the sacrifices they make for us. I had a mystical experience many years ago which made me look at the Church as a finger pointing to the moon, I had found the moon in those moments of my experience. That's when I stopped going to Mass but I never stopped my journey with Jesus. I think that if my Creator wants me at Mass he will lead me there and I am open to returning but I haven't felt the pull. I know I am loved unconditionally and when my time is done here on earth I will be with my Father and all his children in heaven one day. My sister sent me this video which I enjoyed immensely and I have forwarded to others who I think it will interest. I think my sister is worried about my soul and that is why she sent it to me, that touches me. If it is God's plan to get me back to Mass it will happen, I'm listening.

Catholicism today is not what you imagine. And it is not true that the Catholic Church was born 33 years AD, after Jesus died. However, the Catholic Church has made a great contribution in storing and recording literature, including manuscripts which are very useful for the development of the church. This happened because the Catholic church coexisted with worldly governments in the past. The church originated from the Eastern Antiochian Orthodox Church. That was the first time the church was born. Meanwhile, the Roman Catholic Church was born during the time of Konstantin Novel. And it can be seen that both the teachings and customs are the same as the Greek Kingdom. The disciple of Jesus named Peter, who is said to be the founder of the Catholic church, was a person with Jewish customs who never used or placed statues in houses of worship or synagogues. Also worship or prayer to Mary never occurred in the early church when the disciples of Jesus and Mary were still alive. And it would be very unlikely that at that time the Mother Mary was still alive to be worshiped. But the worship or prayer to Mother Mary is inspired by Greek customs, namely the worship of the goddess of fertility...🙂🙂🙂. Likewise, the Catholic organizational structure is in line with the world or Greek kingdom system. start from the Pope to the pastoral.😁😁😁. So the conclusion... is that the Roman Catholic church was not born in the first century, when Peter and Mother Mary were still alive...

When I became a Christian at 30 yrs old, I thought it was crazy that there are people that don’t believe infant baptism. All the people around me growing up were Methodist Presbyterian Lutheran, and they all believe in infant baptism, so I didn’t know believers baptism was a thing until my eldest went to a baptist leaning Christian school and kids 8-13 were “accepting Jesus as their Lord and savior”. I also thought that was weird because I’ve seen some two and three-year-olds sing to Jesus like he’s their whole life is he not also their Lord and Savior?

I noticed that Christians are argumentative by definition of their actions..
All you do is tear down others and pretend that you're without sin..
I hate hypocrisy more than anything else..

Religion is a IQ test.
The church takes advantage of stupid people..
That's evil behavior by anyone's standards.

Oddly finding myself watching a lot of these stories at sixty two years old now. Crazy thing is, I still have the same questions that I used to ask my Catholic mom when I was little. Raised Catholic, ended up in a nondenominational church for more than twenty years, my non believing husband of twenty years divorced me and eight years since. I find myself in an odd place spiritually.
I think I’ll keep following Mom’s advice. She told me , as a searching teenager “ Let the Holy Spirit lead you.”
