Our feelings in a look - Carlos Pintau

The bride's arrival is one of our favourite moments during a wedding.
Those sweet glances as they cross each other start the dancing.

But seeing the emotion of a parent hand over the hand of their son or daughter is even more special. It is not a farewell, it is not a leave-and-go, but rather it is placing complete trust in a person, knowing that they will take care of one of the most precious things they have from then on.

Like this dad, the emotion has no voice but screams loudly inside, making it clear how much he has to say.

It is nice to have moments like these that make us share in the great emotions and feelings that flourish during the ceremony, but as photographers it is also a great responsibility.
