Temu is poisoning you.. hoping you don't notice.

I always knew Temu was bad, but not sending-people-to-the-hospital bad.

I knew it. That's why I never used them.

I only buy what I need and is usually careful with reviews and my data. When are people gonna start taking accountability for their own carelessness ? Other than prices, Temu is no different than amazon...

I use to work at a call center for Temu. To keep it short: stay away from Temu.

Temu actually isn’t tempting. Idk why. It just reminds me of SHEIN.

I once downloaded the app bc a friend asked me too, though I never bought anything from them my last phone got hacked after I downloaded Temu. Even after removing my sim that phone still acts weird. I had to change my no. due to this and one friend of mine sends around 50 messages per day begging me to download Temu. Like Temu is a BIIGGG red-flag. Like my last phone is unusable. I had plans to use that phone for a few more years but I had to change my phone this year due to this ;-;

The moment I learned that companies on Temu steal ideas from actual creators… was the moment I decided to never support them.

Original products getting more expensive from price gouging.

Temu products being sold by influencer that are a cheap marketing option that seem more “authentic” than advertising.

China getting even more into other markets by lowering standards unless your country has good health and safety standards for products you’re allowed to sell. (The US doesn’t)

My mom doesn't use temp because of the lead thing, but she loves Dollar tree, daiso, and shein because of its low prices. She gets so excited and I feel bad telling her that going to these places is going to ruin her financially. I love her and just wanna see her happy, what do I do?

Interesting that the same products from the same manufactures can be sold on Amazon without any issue.
Same issues occur but less focus by media because Amazon is not Chinese.
And now, in the USA at least, Amazon is intending to import them directly in attempt to bring pricing closer to Temu... wonder if same scrutiny will be focused on those Amazon products once middle men removed.

beware its not just temu, other e commerce platform that cheap could be dangerous as well since it was made in china anyway we dont know the quality control, there is identical product across multiple shopping platform

Amazon is routinely being cheaper for a lot of products than my local Walmarts. That's why I shop more Amazon than Walmart. Temu is not something I would shop at much just because of time and effort when things obviously go wrong.

So glad the only thing I ever purchased from them is stickers to decorate my computer.

the reason why im not doing business with walmart is because they refuse to do business with me. I place an order after spending all that time to choose my item, and then, walmart cancels it without explanation. I do it again, and walmart cancels it again. by doing so, a poisonous website like temu gets to jump ahead.

So what do you do when you find these items from Temu being sold on Amazon? I swear, if I find an item on Amazon, like the dog harness, that wasn't too expensive, if the description has a lot of brackets & broken English, it's sure to be found on Temu. At least Amazon Canada anyways. Why is Amazon letting people get away with that?

i live in China and I shop a lot on taobao which is all the same merchandise on Temu. Most of the items you will find on temu are actually resold in the usa for a much higher price. I have only ever had positive experiences however i wash clothes and fabrics before i buy them as the factories in china always skip that step.

My best friends mom bought this hairbrush from Temu, she didn’t understand English which was in the description of the item. When it came to her house, my best friend saw this button and pressed it. It started vibrating and that’s when she realized it was a rose toy in disguise..

My little sister has her Temu phase right now, she wants to buy and experiment with her style, but most of the time she is better off at goodwill since Temu is super unreliable and my mom doesn't trust it. Personally I'm addicted to buying stuffed animals but only high quality ones that have a soft texture, so that keeps me from buying any stuffie I see.

So we need to bring manufacturing back to our own countries and make tariffs so high that it's no longer profitable to import 99% of our goods from China anyway, otherwise the only thing that changes is that we pay 6x the price for things and continue to line the pockets of the mega corps who own us. That's the difference.

Not all of it are bad a few things I've bought from temu and i was satisfied but depends on the seller tho it's not temu it's self duh
