FULL TIME RV LIVING WITH 2 KIDS AND A DOG *WHAT WE'RE CONSIDERING*

As someone that has fulltime RVed for 4 years I can tell you a couple of things about choosing an RV.
1. The layout is going to make a huge difference. The RVs with the couch facing the door are not comfortable. Especially for entertaining. This is what we have and I hate it. I wish we would have gone with a midbunk honestly.
2. Once you start putting all your belongings in there you might feel a bit enclosed. The higher ceilings in a fifth wheel make a difference with this, in my opinion.
3. Storage is so important. I mean, for obvious reasons 🤣
4. Tow vehicle. We have a Chevy 2500HD and it is almost too small to haul our fifth wheel. I always take the most flat route possible because of this.
5. RV ovens are terrible. Nothing ever comes out cooked evenly. It normally half cooked on one side and burnt on the other. We have put pizza stones in our oven to help distribute the heat more evenly but that doesn't even work. I have a Ninja Foodi that I do 90% of my cooking in.
6. Join the Facebook group called Fulltime Families if you haven't already. There are thousands of people on there that fulltime and they are all super helpful.
