GROOVE Wallet is okay, but I've got something better!

It just sounds like you're trying to find things to complain about but that's just how I see it, things are priced at different prices for specific reasons, I did notice that I hear more movement when you open the cheaper wallet than the groove wallet or maybe somebody put more time into developing the groove wallet then the other wallet that you reviewed but it really does sound like you're just trying to find things to complain about

Is the Orgon wallet aircraft aluminum and does it have a 94 year warranty?! How is the quality of them both besides a finger slot to push the cards out? Being harder to open up the wallet imo is better because my kids won’t easily open it up and also won’t open in your pocket etc…

Well I don't think you did a very good review considering that in the metal box with the groove wallet is a thumb-sized grip pad with a template to put it on in the center and to keep it looking straight in the box so yes the groove wallet is much better and the only flaw you pointed out was never a flaw because that already had a fix for it in the box with the wallet

think it should of been a few mm wider to allow bills to be folded once and covered by the "wallet" instead of needing to fold twice

I actually like the fact you have to add pressure to slide it up. If it’s in my pocket and I’m working I don’t need the slightest movement of me moving around or up and down and all of my cards come out into my pocket. I think they thought that feature through and I like it.

can you remove money clip?

You gotta fold your money twice, so you have to flash your cash...and just ask a guy with one of these to show you a photo of their kids or the receipt for that item you may have to return. It's junk. Nothing beats a regular wallet. The leather wallet didn't need improving.

I've been thinking about upgrading from the ridge but in order to upgrade I need to find something better first lol I think I like the groove life better but the Ogon is great to, is the part you put your thumb on to slide made of plastic or is it aluminum like the groove life?

Does the sliding panel on the wallet have any wiggle?

I could see the easy opening working against you though. For instance, it activates while pulling from your pocket when you don't want it to.

Guys it actually has a grip sticker and I’ve had mine groove wallet for more than 8 months. Been beat and in harsh places and trust me the grip and all is still flawless. I love my wallet and it’s life warranty. I’ve had the entire wallet replaced with the sleeve at no charge. And they all come with the grip sticker… again the sticker has never came off and still standing strong been in dirty and mud even wet and still going strong .

Could just add a piece of grip tape to it

The Ogon does not have the lock clip on the left side top of wallet case. Ogon looks like a knock off product. To each their own.

Damn i liked that extra hook that holds the cards in. But im not liking the fact it doesnt open too well

I can see the groove life deployment being a bit of an annoyance, especially while rainy/sweaty hands but it does add to the sleeekness. It would be nice if there were some sort of jimping/indentations on the slider plate though. Could add a strip of grip tape or something with some texture but that would detract from the overall aesthetic I feel.

The alternative wallet seems like it did good on fixing the fault of the groove wallet but does it feel similar in touch and sound while using it? I feel the groove life wallet (with the price tag) probably has a more premium feel but it's all subjective at the end of the day. Love the vids!

It’s really not that big of a deal just add a sticker that has some texture to it and away you go, seriously people make bigger deals out of things when there’s simple solutions people just need to use their brains more often

Groove life wallet is not hard to slide at all.

What happened to the add on strap on feature?... How does it feel? What about the quality of the leather?

The leather attachment is now called groove wallet go, and uses microsuction, instead of being screwed on.
Would LOVE a review of the new go wallet attachment to see how durable the suction is, compared to the screwed on brackets.

That's odd. My GL wallet package contained a very low profile thumb grip that can be added anywhere and a template to place it easily...

Groove wallet comes with adhesive stickers that solves the usability issue. So its not really an issue

Update on the Groove Wallet: When purchasing the wallet, Groove Life includes a rubber, self adhesive gripper that you can attach to your wallet, your option. I’ve been using the adhesive rubber gripper for over a year and doesn’t show any wear. Groove Life has just introduced and smart wallet that you can with your Apple iPhone using the app “find my” and it does play a sound to locate it. I’m not sure of all the features since it’s new but I know I’m going to purchase one since I’m sometimes forgetful.

Nothing beats a good old leather wallet. So a big no for me . Only one i can pick is secrid mini wallet

You don't need to fold the Cash more than once. I use mine folding once and yes it hangs over the end a tiny bit but you can hold more cash folding once. Never had an issue pushing the slide up.

First of all, great videos,very useful. Having the measures and capacity of a wallet proved to us before buying them in this era of online shopping is key. My question is if the capacity can be augmented by using the mony clip for both a couple cards and cash so as to keep the lovely look of this wallet without the leather accesory that right know is not attached through screws. There is a new similar wallet called "The uniqtouch" but I haven't found any real reviews of it on the internet, so I would feel more comfortable buying the Groove. I love my Dutch Martin Secrid miniwallet as it has great capacity, but a full metal wallet looks very atractive to use

I paid $68 on Black Friday. I think that's a reasonable price for what you get.

I got a plastic wallet that functions the exact same way as the Ridge wallet at Ollie's for $5. Works great.

Well if you would have done a proper unboxing and review you would have realized the groove wallet comes with a grip sticker that it allows you to place anywhere on the front of the wallet to help with it. As it is not needed, I have no issue without it. I have used the groove wallet for 3 years & I would never use another. I’m completely satisfied with it & their 94 year warranty has me covered so I’ll never have to buy another one. When it breaks, I simply file a claim and have another one at my door in one week. Might be a big up front cost, but the warranty alone is well worth that to me.
