Many thanks again, Nicole. Your videos have helped me tremendously as I learn to use Obsidian for PKM.
ОтветитьGood job!
ОтветитьAmazing! I'm gonna start using it now
ОтветитьHow to compress a large PDF file for free or cheaply?
ОтветитьSeriously!! Now you show me it does presentations!! :)
ОтветитьBuild a personal knowledge management system. Great advice. Looking forward to checking your links and following you. Thank you.
ОтветитьNicely explained. Thanks
ОтветитьI am going back to Computer Science (software engineer) school this june and I am trying to teach myself how to use Obsidian. I want to make sure I am somehow prepared to what is coming XD but I feel I am going to get slapped in the face by pretty much everything. Hahaha! Thank you for your videos <3 You are pretty amazing! Much Love, Flip.
ОтветитьFantastic video, thank you!
ОтветитьI started my CS studies in 2009 and I really wish I could travel back in time and give my past self Obsidian...
ОтветитьObrigado for the video! Being a knowledge worker myself this really sparkled some ideas.
ОтветитьIn terms of coworking in obsidian seems like a «Syncthing» may be a solution, cause it's sync on any change on any amount of devices
ОтветитьThe monolit vs microsevice just got me hahahah
ОтветитьDoesn't this go against our company's security and privacy policies? Especially while using community plug ins. I feel like this is somethign I would get in trouble for using, especially community plug ins!!
ОтветитьI tried dot box but doesn’t work on iPhone/iPad. Obsidian don’t let me choose the cloud directory. Many thanks for your clear and helpful video on obsidian 😉
ОтветитьHey, love the video but could you explain a little better how exactly you use readwise with obsidian?
I mean you said that in the evening you have stuff that was "prepared by readwise" to go through. I believe in another video you mentioned that new stuff from readwise has an "TVN" Tag or something.
Could you explain this workflow a little more in detail?
Question: Do you get just the readwise "digest", 5 random hightlights send to your obsidian and this is you look at? Or do you get all the stuff you highlighted THAT day to look at in obsidian?
I"ve been touching a bit the water of Obsidien for the last two weeks, copying resumes of my classes I wrote on notion. And I finally finally! Understand why they call it a second brain. it's really not about just making easy to read fast notes. It's about storing "Brain Links" to knowledge left in the back
ОтветитьThank you 3 times you're the best
ОтветитьLove your breakdowns! These tips are great
ОтветитьThank you for your no-nonsense videos on Obsidian. I felt like I was at a pyramid scheme seminar watching videos from other channels.
ОтветитьI'm binge-watching your videos. You have such a nioce way to present information and explain!
I'm dabbling in Obsidian, trying to use it to store my notes on learning to code, so that I can have something familiar to quickly refer to, whenever needed (my Personal Knowledge Management System).
Thanks for the lessons and insights! And please keep making content, you rock!
Thaaaaanks
Ответитьfor some reason I did not understand one word you said.
ОтветитьReally great content!
ОтветитьWhen I tried Obsidian for the first time I was so overwhelmed by it because I didn't knew where to start. I watched some videos and it went like "that's so complicated I'm never gonna use this". But then Notion became my nightmare with sync problems and no offline mode, and then I wanted to give it another try to Obsidian and came to your video. I loved it so much, you explained perfectly and made me look differently at it.
PS: I didn't found your page from Obsidian in the description, can you send me? Thanks! xo
thank you! your content is of great value❤
ОтветитьThanks for your video, I've just installed obsidian and will see how it will work for me.
One question: You mention that you can use existing github repositories as vaults. I browsed the community plugins and only found one that would display gists which our repository does (not yet) have and other plugins that allow to backup my vault on github. I've also searched through your other videos and watched your 10 plugins video but you did not mention a github plugin there. Did I miss something? Could you explain how you access a github repository as a vault, especially when the repository requires you to sign in? Maybe you could even make a video on it if you find the time.
I don't get the point. I was thinking this could give me an advantage but seems just time consuming to input stuff this way.
ОтветитьWow, seems a bit overwhelming at first but I feel it's going to be worth it. Your videos help a ton, thanks!
ОтветитьAwesome 😎
ОтветитьAnother good one. Thanks. Really gave me a nice overview of what this is all about and what it's good for. I've fallen in love with markdown in general for note -taking, but also love to use FreeMind for mind-mapping, but it's all "organized" on my system in thousands of document folders, and various git repos, and what-all else. Not sure yet whether this just becomes one more way to confuse myself, but you've done a great job of giving me what I need to mull this over and maybe even play with it a little bit here and there.
ОтветитьImpressive what you can do with Obsidian
I like your videos easy to follow, clean, and to the point. Also I like the transitions you do and images, etc.
The music is very disturbing. It outweights the quality of the content.
ОтветитьOUR ABBAYAHUAH THANKS FOR YOUR LOVINGKINDNESS JUDGMENT AND RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THE EARTH.

TURNING MY SPARK INTO A FLAME TO RETURN TO OUR ABBAYAHUAH FULL OF LIGHT.
MUCH LOVE TO YOU.
The part in which you say I reserve an hour for myself at 9 p.m. I'm a bit of a night eater killed me, 😂 haha I haven't even had dinner at that time, normally dinner is at 10 p.m. and some hours for my night are at 2 a.m. but In Spain we go to bed very late even though we get up early haha🤣
ОтветитьYou rock! Congratulations on getting tech right.
ОтветитьCan you import files .txt or .pdf or .doc I to Obsidian? Tx
ОтветитьSo you work in Portugal! 🧐
I'm Brazilian, giving my first steps in coding.
If I manage to get some presidential job in Portugal, I already know someone.
Thanks for the video.
Thank you for explaining things so simply for us!!!
ОтветитьFinalky, an Obsidian video that doesn't sound like a paid ad.
ОтветитьHow do you colorcode your Graph View? It looks so beautiful its insane! :D
ОтветитьYour glasses in 2011 were so sick love that
ОтветитьYour videos are very helpful. Given the background you have in software I am curious if you think obsidian would be a good tool for writing PRD or functional specifications documents?
Ответитьwhich pluggin do you use?
ОтветитьVery interesting with many highly usable suggestions (Readwise) - thanks. I will try to put (some of) my conversations with ChatGPT here. Also nice video preentation, not too long or too verbose for the content. (But would be even better without the music.)
ОтветитьI come from Evernote and I feel, apart from the web clipper, the options there are too limited. This video will help me build my more advanced "learning pipeline". Thanks! Bedankt!
