ОтветитьWell done holmes stand in front of Lestrad and his gun
ОтветитьThe Best Line in this movie, of which there are many, occurs when Holmes and Watson have just disembarked the train to Scotland in time to observe a funeral procession. When Watson inquires, a man at the station responds reverently , "Andy MacTavish, cut down in the flower of his manhood, what a pity," Watson, "Young man, was he?" Scotsman, "Oh yes, he was just seventy-four years old."
To which Watson blubbers and stutters about it being a joke. Classic Watson -- at least in the manner in which this Rathbone series chooses to portray him.
Great Scott homes that was meant for us,,,,
Ответитьi want a mate who asks for nothing, always ready to help and a bit tasty with a revolver
ОтветитьPretty interesting
ОтветитьWho ever picked Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce to play sherlock holmes and dr. watson, knew what they they were doing. The two were a perfect match to play those roles.Basil Rathbone ,in my opion was ans is the best actor that has ever lived. Thanks Basil and Bruce for being there to fill those two roles.

ОтветитьWatson pulls a revolver from his pocket .....makes me think of all the freedoms the British have lost through the years.
