It’s been over two months since houseless people in the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley moved to a camp on a strip of right-of-way. That undeveloped land is owned by the city of Clarkston, Washington. Since people moved in and set up shelters, they’re dealing with the cold, harassment and hygiene issues – while officials and community members struggle with how to address the growing needs of unhoused residents. NWPB’s Rachel Sun reports.
