ONLY ON AP - 301 migrants rescued off Libya

(24 Jul 2017) A Spanish NGO (non governmental organisation) on Sunday rescued 301 migrants and refugees, including 39 women and eight children, at sea,about 12 miles north of Saratha, Libya.
One of the rubber boats they were travelling in was partially punctured when the rescue team found them sailing out of control.
Most of the migrants on board fell to the water but all were successfully rescued and brought to the Proactiva Open Arms NGO vessel by the rescue team.
