I've got a not very related question to this video, but do you have any tips for good shotgun microphones that are affordable? I'm using the Zoom H6 shotgun mic right now which unfortunately produces a lot of self noise.

I'm an SAE institute student who's just starting out to learn more about foley (hoping to work with video game audio some day) and i've learned a lot from you! So thanks a lot :D

How do you make a budget for film foley? Depending on the film it seems like you might need to break lots of things...
