spiff complaining that genocide seems boring is like the whole point. Genocide isnt supposed to be hard or enjoyable. Being good takes effort but is rewarding whereas hurting others isnt intresting or fun

Watching blind playthroughs is always fun, getting to analyze playthroughs that aren't entirely perfect pacifist/geno is always great specially with the context of the game's meta aspects lol

Also really funny looking at chat and seeing the amount of people who haven't seen certain neutral dialogue, kinda surprising because those people are typically the same people who are backseating the most lol . Maybe ive just played this game too much but i have recognized every single line of dialogue across this entire video xD

I mean, probably cause Neutral isn't exactly the most popular run? People often resort to pacifist/geno only as a result of either backseating or just.. pure luck lol

Edit: Spiff played this game in the exact right way. I was pissed off the entire time as an Undertale fan, but I was immensely entertained the whole video through.

ill maybe sound craey to some. but undertale really only break the 4th wall once. i wont say it here because he hastdone it yet. but literaly every other 4th wall break. the character either talk o chara or to the player character, who is not frisk. but a character that is out of the other chracter's world, that control frisk like a real life video game player would.

I love how Spiff tries to play off his mispronunciation of Papyrus as a fresh take when we know how it's pronounced because it's an actual thing. Papyrus is both a font (the one Papyrus talks in) and an old material that used to be written on like paper.

Idk why but I feel the ending Spiff got is the right one for him, perhaps he played Undertale the intended way?

Undertale is one of the most backseated games ever. I like seeing peoples experiences but I think playing it candidly makes it more enjoyable

So I believe you went the right way about this, playing the game with little to no back seating. It helps set up an idea of what was missed and what to look forward to when you play the other routes.

The first time I played I ended up killing Toriel and I felt so bad that I went straight pacifist for the rest of the run.
